One of the best tools I’ve used!
This tool worked very well and was the right size for my project that I was working on. This tool had the correct speed and drill accuracy.

Monster bit and sharp!!
This came in its OEM packaging and arrived sharp and ready to go! Used it to drill holes in hardwood and plywood! Never a problem as it cut through like a hot knife thru butter!! Will buy other sizes as needed!

Needs Sharpening
The bit was dull out of the package and the two cutting edges needed to be sharpened with a file. It cut pretty well after sharpening. The center point wears out fast and requires additional sharpening. I used it to cut holes into oak barrel staves. It worked well for my project.

Clean hole
It cuts a clean hole with no tear out, burnishing, or burning.

Great Bit for Hardwood
Freud forstner bits are excellent. Had to cut through bourbon oak barrel stave and they do an excellent job. Clean cuts, and the bit stays sharp even after dozens of cuts. Although a bit pricey, if you need to ensure the job is done right and clean, I recommend a Freud bit.

use this on my lathe to start hollowing out bowls works perfectly every time.

This made building several purple Martin houses incredibly easy! Excellent quality & the only problem with it is that one has to be careful not to run the drill really fast b/c then it binds when drilling the hole. That happened a couple of times almost taking the drill out of my hands & wrenching my wrists until I figured out to go slowly & carefully.

Very sharp, clean hole. The only negative I could say is that it did not come with any type of plastic protector. I have only used this twice so I can’t say anything about how long it will stay sharp.
