Professional Kitchen Sharp Damascus Knife Set for Chef 15pcs, 67 Layers VG10 Damascus Steel, Japanese Style Knives Set with Beechwood Knife Block

I have had my eyes on these knifes for a long while now, (if I just say forged in fire and Damascus steel, those that know will know) so when I see them in the Prime Day sale I took the plunge and ordered them. They arrived the following day and what can I cay, these Knifes are amazing. The Damascus steel gives these knifes a premium look, the construction of the handle looks robust with what looks like a through Tang. Out of the box these knifes are razor sharp (Bald patch on arm to prove it) I didn't realise how bad my old set was till i got these. They cut so effortlessly through anything you put in their way and even the bread knife was a joy to use. They are probably not the best Damascus steel knifes out there, but for a home chef who loves cooking, these are beyond expectation.

this are not just sharp but also well made. the balance is good . I like the 2 chefs knives one aisanish style one uk type. the tiny pairing knife is a joy and the scissors are good enough for small bones etc had them a few months and far happier than I was with global that I think is now more about the brand.

Excellent Japanese knife set, oddly made in another country so not sure on the authenticity... nonetheless, superbly crafted, incredibly sharp and beautiful in appearance. Would I say value for money? Probably not, the price tag is awfully steep for them, but I'd probably expect a lower price tag which, to me, appears on the high side. However for a one off and having used since August, I'm very pleased.

Very sharp knife set slightly let down by the handles - on opening the box 2 had marks which appeared to be from the blades of other knives & also all the knife handles have a sharp edge at the end (brushed / satin) cap - most noticeable on the steak knives. Additionally, the handle of the sharpening steel is completely different to the rest of the set (cheap looking) plastic with a polished / chrome type cap, whereas the knives are a brushed / satin finish. Overall, a good set which could have been great with just a little more attention to detail.

These knives and shears are extremely sharp, they are all well balanced, even the steak knives fit well in your hand. They all look and feel very professional and are in an attractive, quality wooden block.
