Finally! Something that kills Japanese stiltgrass!!

I use it in my Zoysia lawn to eliminate Bermuda grass. You have to apply it once a month during the growing season so the Zoysia grows better actually, and the Bermuda is inhibited and its growth. It works, but it takes several years to get rid of the Bermuda in Zoysia.

Yes, this product killed all the undesirable grasses coming up in my zoysia lawn. Unfortunately it also manage to take out some of the zoysia. While I am happy that there are far less unwanted grasses growing now, I was not happy spending a few months digging up and replanting what died. If I use this again, I will not do a broad application (which I needed to do because of all the annual bluegrass and large varieties of fescues.) Use with caution

I have been using glyphosate AKA Roundup ,but thought I would try this product bc of small amount needed per gallon to kill stiltgrass. I over doubled the amount at 2 oz per gallon and it did not kill the stilt weed. I have 5 wooded acres that has been over taken by stiltgrass in the last 2 years. The glyphosate used at 5oz a gallon kills the stiltgrass in about 1 week depending on sun and weather, after spraying with acclaim at 2 oz a gallon it's still green and spreading. At 125.00 a bottle just stick with glyphosate.

I have been fighting an invasive grass (Japanese Stiltgrass) in my yard and garden for years. Nothing seemed to take it out besides Round Up. But this of course killed the regular grass too. I tried a bottle of the "Bayer Advanced 704115 Crabgrass Killer for Lawns Ready-To-Spray" as a test. It took out the invasive Japanese Stiltgrass. With a little research, I learned the active ingredient there is Acclaim Extra. I purchased this, mixed it per the directions and added some blue marker liquid and some sticker liquid. About 3 weeks after applying, 95% of the Japanese Stiltgrass has browned up and died. While it is indeed expensive to buy this bottle, compared to the amount of ground it covers, it ends up being much cheaper than the pre-mixed "Bayer Advanced 704115 Crabgrass Killer for Lawns Ready-To-Spray". I'm glad I finally found something that takes out Japanese Stiltgrass without hurting the rest of my lawn.

My yard's been infested with Japanese silt grass. It's really tough to get rid of this stuff goes a long way but it's pretty expensive but it killed all of it in the yard. Guess you'll have to do it a few years in a row is the seeds that are in the lawn have a lifespan of five to seven years! But this stuff killed it good.

This product is phenomenal for eliminating Japanese Stiltgrass. Mix according to directions and tiller stage. Doesn’t take allot of spray on the stiltgrass. Turns them yellow in three days, kills the In a week.
