With a little elbow grease I got my SP looking shiny and new again. The fit and finish isn't perfect, especially around the battery door. It is a small price to pay for a new housing (broke the hinges on my original). The Nintendo badge and text on the stickers is not perfect when compared to OEM, but it looks good enough that nobody who isn't an expert won't notice.

Excellent product! I wanted to show my end result. Came out very good. The most difficult thing to remove and put together was the little hinge plastics that allow the sp to open and close. I also posted what it looked like before replacing this shell casing.

If your screen is okay I highly recommend you leave the original one on. They put a sticker directly on the new one and it's almost impossible to get the sticky goop off without scratching it. Other than that no complaints. Everything fits great. I tried painting mine and it didn't go so well, but I think it was all user error. Probably the paint I used. Just a friendly reminder this doesn't come with replacement hinges or volume slider. Luckily my old hinges matched with my new paint color. Small screws are hard to tell apart, but that's Nintendo's fault for making a triheaded screw. I'd give this product a 9/10. I was willing to purchase another if I messed up. Great for the price.

First time doing a reshell but it came out good, didn’t have any serious issues just make sure you watch a few youtube videos and you’ll be good.

The Tri-wing (Y) screwdriver included was too small. Otherwise, the shell worked fine, however, it was not as high quality as the original.
