I absolutely love this Arteza Premium Coloring Book. The floral illustrations are gorgeous and detailed without feeling overwhelming. The 9 by 9 size is perfect for coloring at a desk or on the couch, and the detachable sheets make it easy to take pages out if you want to frame them or color on a flat surface. The paper quality is one of the best parts. At 100 lb, it is thick enough that colored pencils, gel pens, and markers do not bleed through. The pages stay smooth and blend well with pencils, which makes the finished designs look even better.

I love this coloring book, as a fan of the ocean and art it's perfect for when I'm in the mood to color. It takes to markers with no bleeding (using Crayola fine tip art markers), and the designs are stunning just as shown in the previews. In fact, the previews not spoiling every page made flipping though it very exciting. It's a little smaller than I realized, but honestly I realized a perfect pad for coloring at your desk or on a small table in front of the tv, even in your lap (since it's very easy to maneuver and thick enough to not really make a flat surface necessary for everyone). Between the quality of the art and paper material, the stretch cover to keep it closed, and the thickness to make it sturdier than most coloring books, I have to say this is my new gold standard brand when I'll go looking for more to color.

I read reviews that this is a very tedious book but I wanted to give it a try. It's well done book and it's fun to do but it's very tedious and if you don't have good eyesight you'll hate it. Plus you need very sharp tools to color with like pins. I ended up using mostly glitter pens as they seem to work the best on this. I wish they would do the same book in a bigger size cuz I do love the art. But like I said it's just very tedious and it takes forever to finish a page. I do like that the pages come out easily of the book so you don't have to keep them in there while you're trying to color them.

This is a challenging adult coloring book, well-suited for travel because of its small size - 6.4 X 6.4 inches. The pictures are varied, ranging from castles to architectural pictures and more. (Excuse the shadow in the bottom left corner of my photo above - it's where I was standing over the piece to take the photo.) I loved some of my work from this book so much that I actually had it framed. I get many compliments from people who visit my home! Count on spending 2 -3 hours per piece. Although it is challenging, with a little patience it's quite doable and extremely relaxing.

I love to color to relieve stress and take my mind off of whatever is troubling me, and have many adult coloring books that serve that purpose. I purchased these because I nearly filled the books I had and was looking for some newer designs. The designs were great, but I didn't realize they were as small as they actually are, which are about the size of a CD case. It would be better if they were twice that size or at the very least 5" x 7" instead of 4 x 4,".

I’ve loved coloring books my whole life (and I’m now in my 40s). For years I had a super hard time finding coloring books that interested me - I prefer shapes and abstract designs where there’s no precedent for the color palette. This book, with the thick one sided pages to the easy tear out - it’s perfect. I have prismacolor pencils, water based markers and alcohol based markers. I’m usually not able to use the alcohol markers because they bleed through but with this book I can - they provide such a smooth finished look. To address the complaints about the small patterns - if you don’t have the right markers or pencils to color them in, either get them or don’t. It isn’t the fault of the coloring book that you don’t have the required tools. If you look at my pictures, the second pictures down on both the right and left sides are probably among the designs they were referring to. I love them small. Yes, I’m going blind in my old age, but I enjoy the pace of the finer drawings - they take a long, long, long time to color in. I’m thrilled with the book I have and am looking forward to the other editions I know will be coming my way at Christmas. Seriously one of the best coloring books I own (I own between two and three dozen). * Important note - I do use something underneath the page when I’m using alcohol markers. They don’t generally go through the paper, but they can if pressing hard (I colored while watching hurricane Ian coverage - my mom was in the worst possible area but hadn’t evacuated), ie: when very stressed.

small size, great to take anywhere, awesome pictures

I've needed something to keep my mind off the election and this fit the bill! The thickness of the paper and single side designs are really nice. The illustrations are super detailed and will keep you busy for hours. You'll need markers with fine tips and brush tips due to the varying thicknesses of the designs. There's a set by Ohuhu that has 100 markers and comes with a carrying case that work great for this coloring book.

I like how these colouring pads are in small size with thick paper. You don’t get bored and tired colouring as the size is just right. And the designs look stunning once coloured in!
