Best thing I did when I moved into our home, was to install this for my back yard gardening needs. It was easy to install. It is extremely sturdy. I would highly recommend it to anybody who wanted a good quality hose reel. I attached mine to a wooden fence, placing 2x4 braces on the backside of it for more stability, which has not let me down. It is easy to unwind, and to wind it back up. My 50’ hose never kinks on it. Highly recommend it. The price is worth it.

We wanted a nice sturdy hose reel, that could take a 50ft soft-sided garden hose. This reel has ample volume for that length/type of hose. We really like the swivel/lock feature so that the hose can be pulled straight out of the reel to reach areas of our large garden. The red finish looks high quality and the upper tray is handy to put hose nozzles and parts on. I have covered it for the winter and disconnected/stored the hose. The only issue I had was connecting the soft-sided hose to the fitting on the drum of the reel. The threads on our soft-sided hose were difficult to match up to the threads on the drum fitting. It leaked the first few times after connecting/reconnecting it but after removing/reinstalling several times it stopped leaking. It was also a bit difficult to tighten/loosen the soft-sided hose as well, the hose fitting on the drum has a fairly short "neck", and the fitting on our hose had very little clearance to screw it on/off. Overall very pleased with the first season of use. There are a lot of less expensive options available, but we are hoping spending a bit more will lead to longer/problem-free use.

A lovely hose reel well made, I like products which are actually made in the USA not China for American companies. The hose reel is holding 45 meters of 12.5mm diameter hose the fittings are 3/4" imperial was able too get the correct adaptor from Amazon as you can see in second photo

Arrived on time and as described. I have used it only for a short while, but it seems well built and sturdy. The hose unreels easily, and it is easy to reel it up as well. Due to the design, there are no kinks or tangles. And since it is steel, it will last much longer than the plastic ones.
