Pelican 14 Quart Cooler

I almost did not buy this because of the price and I am primarily using it just for a lunch box. After the last episode of my old lunch box’s handle coming off, dropping the contents all over the ground I purchased it. I am so glad I did, this thing is awesome. It’s heavy duty and has lots of room for my lunch stuff and drinks. The latches are well made, hold securely, and are easy to use. The handle is also well constructed and robust. It won’t be failing anytime soon. The basket is a perfect spot for more fragile food stuff. I dig that the lid opens up to reveal a slim storage space inside the lid. I keep my wallet and keys and shades in there while I am working. All in all this little box does more than I expected and is a quality piece of equipment. I don’t think I will ever have to buy another lunch box.

This is a great lunch cooler. I pack my husband's lunch and breakfast carries his water. The dry tray is a must! Plus the little compartment on top is good for silverware, paper work. It also has a bottle opener. Many other features. Plus it keeps cold till the next day. Good quality product. Made in the USA. Will buy another larger cooler for picnics and such.

My husband loves this for his daily lunch box. Plenty of space and strong quality.

I work construction and my lunchbox has always sat in the southern California sun and heat baking for 12 hours or more each day. This is the best work investment I've made yet. After 12 hours in the sun I can pull anything out and it's as ice cold as it was when packed in the morning. It felt a bit bulky for me at first to walk around with on a job but over the last few months I don't mind it because it's totally worth it to have your food and drinks chilled whenever you want. I've dropped it 6 feet off my crane right onto the handle and it even fell directly onto the lid from 7 feet and nothing but a small scuff on the plastic. I'd have given the cooler 5 stars but the small top compartment allowed water in and all my paper items inside got soaked. "Kind of my fault because I did spray the entire cooler with a water hose when it got splashed with concrete and I tried to hose it off". The very top compartment isn't water resistant and has no gasket. The main compartment of the cooler stayed dry though because the rubber seal around it worked as it was intended too. Overall 4.9 stars. Spend the money, you won't regret it.

Great cooler. Very well made

Bought this cooler just over 2yrs ago and it has held up great. I use it for work, I work construction, and whether I put a cooling pack or use ice from the yard it keeps cool all day. The dry storage tray and the small storage lid is really nice to toss extra items.

The cooler is nice for those who do outdoor work like road building, iron working, logging etc. oftentimes stores or lunch trucks are not convenient. You can fit a lot of drinks in the bottom to stay hydrated all day and then the top tray keeps your sandwiches and food dry and cold. Best of all, there is a dry compartment on the top lid and you can keep your badges, keys, wallet and other little bits and pieces 😉 so you don't have too much s*** in your pocket all day. I pack mine up each morning. I throw my truck keys, my wallet and my site and badge in the top and away I go without a bunch of different things to carry. Plenty of room to get you through those long shifts where you're eating Breakfast, lunch and dinner, plus break time and best of all the amount of money I save at the gas station Buying food each day and more than Pays for the cooler in a week, And allows me to buy more scratch off tickets and nicotine products. 🤟 Another nice thing is that this cooler is not super heavy like a yeti. It's solid. You can sit on it. You can stand on it but it doesn't weigh 50 lb empty and you're not going to throw your shoulder out grabbing it out of the truck bed. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase. Pelican does make a seven quart size but I feel that would be too small for somebody who's away from the house for 10 or 12 plus hours a day. This is the size you want if your day is anything like mine.

This works just as it should. My husband purchased this for work and boy has it held up. It keeps everything super cold. If you are taking anything frozen don't expect it to unthaw.

Quality is what you're buying, this is definitely a case of quality over quantity. Still able to fit quite a bit in even with ice packs, very pleased with how thick and sturdy it is. Keeps food cold for days!

À la base, c'était pour utiliser en tant que boîte à lunch, et elle excelle là-dedans! Quoique c'est un peu gros. Mais je l'adore. Et ma blonde et moi on s'en sert également pour picniquer. Pour 2 personnes, c'est parfait! C'est une glacière solide, avec un compartiment sec sur le dessus, qui est mince mais très pratique. Les fermoirs sont très robustes! Manquerait seulement une chose, qu'elle soit fabriquée en Amérique du Nord.

Heavy duty lunch cooler. Perfect size for shift worker with no fridge access. Keeps everything nice and cold. Also has top storage outside of the cooler for phone etc.

I probably overestimated how long the ice would last. Keeps ice for a full day on a warm day. Maybe a bit longer kept out of the sun. But great for day use as it was built for. The larger ones keep the ice for a week.
