The best ones so useful
I was against these but got them at my daughter request they are the best for teaching the cat no to claw things and you can take them right off they do not have to stay on this is how I got my cat to stop destroying my couch, when he would scratch I would pit them on him and take them off a couple hours later and over time he learned we also used them for my new born so kitten didn't hurt the baby on accident I love how they can be put on and taken off right after

Wonderful
Stopped nails in the sofa!

Useful
Great for mitigating cats that love to scratch. The glue works well enough but my cat usually pulls them off after a couple of days.

The caps work great, but I use a different superglue.
27AUG23 I just started using these caps, as I finally used up my previous supply. These were purchased for their good price. I use Loctite 404 adhesive instead of the supplied adhesive, mostly because it's easier to handle than that supplied. The performance of these claw covers is the same as others, but the value is great due to the low price. I've been claw capping cats for years and have found that claw preparation and technique is most important. 1 - With claw scissors blunt the claw tip. 2mm typically. Look! Don't go too far! 2 - If loose, remove the claw sides that naturally sluff off. There's usually something there if the old cover has just fallen off, otherwise your cat's natural claw action will clean this up for you. 3 - Use an emery board to roughen the top curved portion of the claw over its entire length (all the way to its base), as well as edges near the curved portion. This is the only area where the cover is strongly adhered to the claw. If you try to do anything in the area under the curve you'll probably hurt your cat. 4 - Put superglue in the cap. This is the most technique intensive task. 1st - Squeeze the cap so as to increase size of the open end. 2nd - Add superglue by using surface tension of the glue to regulate the amount. You want enough to fill about 1/4 of the claw cover. Always have a piece of paper towel handy to dab away excess glue. Paper towel works better than your hands or your cat. LOL 3rd - Coat the inside of the cap by gently squeezing it to uniformly coat the entire cap interior. 5 - Extend the cat's already prepared claw and apply the just prepared cover. It's best to lightly squeeze the sides of the tip to prevent air from being trapped. The cap's final position should be up against the cat claw cuticle. This technique works so well (lasting for weeks) that occasionally I'll need to remove the cover by actually cutting it off, using a cuticle cutter to cut the cap. Otherwise the cat can get its overgrown excessively long nail caught in the carpet. And OUCH!!!

Size too big
I already had the small size for my 🐈⬛, and they’re a bit big. So this time I ordered the XS size. They’re bigger than the small I was sent. I can’t use these. On my kitten and they’re way too big for my adult cat.

Did not stay on
Our cat is extremely gentle, so they were easy to put on. A more fiesty cat would have made the application difficult. We were very pleased with how they worked. No scratching and our cat did not seem to realize they were even on. The "nails" started falling off after 2 days.

Great alternative option
I’ve used these on an off over the years and really love them. I typically use them as a training tool — my cat goes through periods of scratching things other than his scratching pad and when that happens I just put these on. They go on with a bit of glue and shed off naturally, although sometimes my cat will pick at them and pull them off. I always inspect his nails after wearing and have never found them to be damaged or injured. The caps stay on for a few weeks to a month (depending on how well I installed them, and/or if my cat is pulling them off), but it does the trick and when they’ve all fallen off I find that he’s back to only using his scratching pad. Note: I do have a pretty mellow cat who allows me to put these caps on, so if your cat doesn’t like it’s paws messed with you may have a little bit of trouble getting them on but their are lots of harnesses on the market to assist with that. (Either way this is a much better option to declawing — please don’t declaw your cats!)

This is a great deal. All the tips, plus 5 glues and special tips for glue to fit into the nail tips. Cat hasn't scratched a thing! Edited to add....I received my second set of these. I sized up from XS to S now that my cat is 6 months old. Great fit and still excellent. We have used them since we got her.

The quality of the material is good. It's a nice rubbery type material. But the shape of them were weird. They didn't fit our cat very well and he managed to get them off way to quickly because I couldn't get a good bond with them. I've been using various nail caps on multiple cats for over a decade, so I'm no stranger to them, which made these even more frustrating. The glue was good though in terms of not being dried up which is a common problem with various manufacturers.

Glue tubes are so hard to squeeze and once squeezed tightly glue is almost impossible to dispense down the tybe into the nozzle and then into the nail caps. Had to try two tubes before I could get any to come out. Messy and terribly designed. This is a fiddly task to begin with but this product makes it almost impossible.
