Tough 1Equestrian Halter

Great muzzle. nice and heavy duty, fits my small mini donk perfectly and definitely has her on a diet!

Favorite mini horse muzzle. My minis can take off the muzzles that require velcroing to their halter. Having the halter attached to the muzzle is perfect. We have had for a few months and is holding up well. I even leave on fence in the elements when not in use. Great quality!

I should have listened to the reviews about the size. Way to big for my mini and he is on the large side. The quality seems good. The basket is huge for a mini.

Hard time staying on a stubborn horse

This is one of my most used pieces of tack on my small farm! You see, since Eeyore came into my life, I’ve learned there’s a huge difference between an intact mini jack being a “nipper” as the kind lady assured me, and a biter. “Just pinch his nose.” No, ma’am. He isn’t a nipper, he’s a CHOMPING PIRANHA! If I need to work in my pasture, Eeyore wears the muzzle for my ankles’ protection. Too bad my brother didn’t heed my warning about him being a biter. The back of his thigh sported Eeyore’s autograph for several days. Eeyore (sorry, A. A. Milne; he already knew his name or I would have changed it) doesn’t seem to be inhibited by it if he’s grazing and it fits fairly well for a mini. It’s a tad big but it works. Eeyore loves when I slide carrots into it and has no problem breathing or eating with it. It’s durable: if you knew Eeyore, you’d be amazed the muzzle is still in great condition.

Okay, the hole on this thing is impossibly tiny. Like, about half an inch in diameter. After watching my mare fight to get any grass or hay for about an hour, I ended up cutting the hole out another inch. Thankfully, it's super flexible rubber, so easy to get a nice pair of scissors on. Other than that, every strap adjusts, which is great, and I've had no issues with durability, it's pretty sturdy. She's yet to be able to get it off, which is a win.

Been buying these for years and have to replace about every two years. I have a Shetland mini and think he is part goat and will eat anything. This is a life saver (although he does not think so) in the Spring and keeps him free from colic. This seems to be the only brand that fits his small head. I do put it under his halter, because he can rub it off otherwise. It breaths well and also the price is reasonable.

Its the best product I have found, however the the hole in the muzzle is the part that wears out first. It usually last me about 3 months.

I have stocked up on a few of these at warehouse deals for my 250lb mini as he will always need to wear one Spring & Summer - the fit, comfort and durability is awesome. My mini has no complaints when I put it on and wears it all day till time to come in. I have washed it in the washing machine and it comes out like new! Highly recommend.

This fit perfectly..yes he did get it off the first day but once I got it tighter and set to fit him it has stayed one.

Garbage. The rubber material split after a month of occasional use. 0/10. If I could rate it no stars I would 😑

Fits good, we got it for our miniature donkey to help with his weight and cut down on grazing, so far it’s going well and our donkey isn’t bothered by it at all.

If you want a grazing muzzle that allows no grazing this is good. If you want ur horse to be able to still graze a little but a slower rate this muzzle won’t work as the tiny hole at the front doesn’t let them get anything.
