It muffles the sound nicely and does not come out while playing

Good quality rubber. Reduction of sound is good. I am using in my apartment complex, no complaint from neighbors.

I try to practice on the drums in some shape or form daily. These help keep the noise levels down exceptionally well, with my wife saying all she can hear is faint tapping on rubber from the basement. Marriage saved! :) After a month of use, they seem to be holding up well. While these obviously don't offer the real feedback of an actual drum skin or practice pad, I find I can use them in other ways to strengthen my stick grip and speed. Only draw back is these things smell like rubber tires when you get them so you might want to air them outdoors or in a garage for a few days. Otherwise, they work as advertised.

Mutes fit the drum kit well, have a good feel and reduced sound considerably. There is a slight plastic smell but to be expected.

Die Dämpfungsauflagen tun genau das, was sie sollen, nämlich die Lautstärke auf ein Minimum reduzieren. Dabei wird der Klang allerdings gar nicht so negativ beeinflusst wie man meinen könnte, sondern wird einfach nur etwas dumpfer, was einem evtl sogar gefällt. Die Scheiben sind genau zugeschnitten, passen perfekt auf die Trommeln und verrutschen durch die Gummioberfläche auch nicht. Der Rebound ist natürlich nicht mehr genau der gleiche, aber wenn man etwas fester auf die Trommeln eindrischt, kann man schon die meisten Techniken noch anwenden. Die Snare wird durch die Auflagen aber nicht so stark gedämpft wie die Toms, da ja der Teppich auf der Unterseite noch frei schwingen kann, also müsste man da evtl noch irgendetwas dazwischenklemmen. Völlig geruchsneutral, wie es vom Hersteller behauptet wird, sind die Matten am Anfang zwar nicht, aber der Geruch erinnert auch nur an Gummi und nicht an giftige Chemikalien und verfliegt auch nach einer Weile.
