Protec Singer's Face Mask Model A345, Size Large, Black

Much needed and cool

This is my favorite mask to sing in. It’s fits snugly but still allows range of motion. The material is not too soft or stiff.

I am a working musician and entertainer and wearing masks is becoming mandatory at the type of places I play, so I bought a couple of these on a recommendation from a friend. Basically, there is no mask that will provide particulate filtration and also allow you to breathe well enough to sing effectively. I made the mistake of not using these for practice, and nearly lost consciousness at my gig. Not totally the fault of the mask but I was at least expecting better breathability than an N95 mask. Unfortunately, this mask was one of the lowest priced I could find, so I’d hate to have to do expensive experiments. I’ll try washing these a few more times and see if they loosen up. I’ll report back if needed. UPDATE: I took the time to stand in front of a mirror and adjust the mask to my face (It was too tight and not sitting evenly on my face). It was a lot better this time, although singing through a mask will never be ideal. I could only give this 4 stars because the price has gone up by $3 since I bought mine.

The mask looks like it may be too large in my face but the room it provides on the when I sing is so helpful. Because of this I don’t wear it except at practice.

Of all the masks I've worn or owned in the past 15 months, this was the best fit and most comfortable. Especially over my large beard.

Very disappointed. Poor quality and not enough depth of coverage to cover chin and nose. The pieces that go under the chin and above the nose are only a couple inches deep and the ear piece are weak and lacking good elasticity, so no matter how tight you pull, you have large gaps. I will Go back to the other companies. Also, as Large goes, this is definitely more of a medium, especially with the upper and bottom parts being very shallow.
