Works well for me . No after taste .

I accidentally ordered this , confusing it with the Natures bounty CD, which I also like. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that this one really does noticeably reduce bloating for me. I’ve never found anything that really does that before so I’m a convert. By noticeably, I mean that I’m back to wearing my jeans which I’d mainly replaced with elastic waist pants! However, my doc says all probiotics eventually lose their effectiveness so it’s important to switch brands every 6 months.

Those who cannot see the difference between this and other probiotics probably WILL NOT FEEL THE DIFFERENCE since they don't have a problem with their gut. Twenty percent of us have problems with our gut that make us see a doctor who specializes in gut problems. That means there are alot more who just deal with their discomfort. Others who miss their Mexican, Thai, Jamaican, French, cuisine cause they just can't tolerate it anymore. Folks who have bloating,diarrhea, flatulence, vomiting, weight loss, discomfort, will feel the difference. Its not about disease labels as Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Ischemic Bowel Disease, Ulcerative Colitis, Crohn's Disease and other autoimmune problems. Its about what you actually, really experience in your everyday life - and want to make it better. Those who have problems with digestion of fats, carbs, proteins when not on a bland diet, will benefit. "Normal" people won't feel it - they don't need it. Second, contrary to the crazies, I don't think you should take stuff you don't need just because someone on Facebook or YouTube says so. Third, Lactobaccilus plantarum 299v, the bacterial strain in this probiotic, REALLY HAS BEEN STUDIED - the full genome has been mapped. There really have been multiple studies that show just how effective this bacteria is in promoting and maintaining gut health. Please look up the great summary on Jarrow com or just google it. It does help with immunity, efficacy of vaccines, as well. Fourth. It has less strains of bacteria because it IS MORE FOCUSED ON DIGESTION. Fifth. The inclusion of the digestive enzymes for fats, carbs and proteins I have not found in other products. Great addition. It just makes life easier for those of us who have gut problems. Like me. Its not a cure. Its not medication. Its not Beano. It makes life easier. And that makes it a great product.
