The Metamorphosis

This one is just great. Go for it if you want to read something different from the current constant styles. It's a literary masterpiece. Packing was also good.

Honestly, this edition is solid if you’re just trying to get through the book for class or your own curiosity. The cover is pretty plain nothing flashy or aesthetic like some newer editions but it has that old-school classic vibe, which kinda fits Kafka’s whole mood. The size is compact and super easy to carry around so it won’t take up space in your bag. The font is readable (not tiny like some other cheap classics), and there are helpful footnotes that explain harder vocabulary or references lifesaver if English isn’t your first language or if you’re new to Kafka. It doesn’t have fancy illustrations or commentary but if you’re looking for a straightforward, affordable copy, this one’s worth it. Paper quality is decent not glossy, but it doesn’t feel like it’ll tear easily either. Binding holds up even with a lot of flipping back and forth. Is it worth the money? Yep. Especially if you’re reading it for AP Lit or want a nononsense version to annotate in without worrying about ruining it. Cheap, compact, and it gets the job done. Just don’t expect aesthetic bookstagram vibes.

I ordered my book on 2/3/14 and got it within 3-4 days. The description mentioned the book would have wear because I bought it used. However, when I received the book it looked practically new (with pencil markings on the inside- which is to be expected). The book was packaged very securely. Purchasing from this seller would be well worth the money! I would purchase again as well.

I was not disappointed with this classic short story. I was surprised that it is only 56 pages long, and that the rest of the 200 page book is a critical view of it. If I knew this before hand I probably wouldn't have bought it, but it has actually turned out to be quite interesting!
