I primarily wet shave using a safety razor (usually with an oil) and I’m always looking out for a decent post shave lotion or balm. Not sure this is it for me.. The balm itself is nice and smooth and a perfect consistency. Does feel good on the face and does soothe the skin. Really like that it’s vegan (even if I’m not), cruelty free and has clean ingredients. I like most things about this balm but.. the smell is not pleasant (to me). My wife described it as “suntan lotion”. My initial reaction was “grandma’s evening lotion”. I was expecting a strong menthol, masculine vibe but the other ingredients overpower it and, to me, it smells both feminine and dated. And this is coming from someone who’s happy to wear fruity, citrus deo and arguably girly fragrance. So I cannot give this 5 stars. I’ll give it 4 stars based off the many positive attributes but if you’re expecting a masculine bourbon, tobacco, menthol traditional scent, this is NOT for you.

If you are looking for a balm it does not meet the standards. But otherwise it’s okay

Thin, runny, and did not do what it’s supposed to do. There are much better options out there for much less money.

Love it. I've tried them all - Hermes etc. But this is the one I will stick with.

Been using men's skin care products for decades. Great product, use it everyday.
