Wrong size
Definitely cannot go down to 38mm, my piston was 40mm, it didn't come close to it, i guess 45 would even be difficult.

Just what I needed

This did not fit the 51.5mm pistons I wanted to use it on.
This would not wind down to the size I wanted (51.5mm) as it became coil-bound. It opened up to 180mm despite its size range supposed to be 38mm - 83mm. Total waste of time/money on a tool that could not be used. No star rating!!! I had to give it one star to continue and I admit it did arrive quickly.

Damaged
Arrived damaged, one band is creased and a lot slacker than the other. It doesn't tighten the bands in sync when tighten all the way I can slip the damaged band off the tool with very little effort. Poor quality.
