1000kg Macpherson Strut Coil Spring Compressor Dumper Extractor Yolk Protector

Good quality. Works well on various McPherson struts (Ducato, Corsa, Focus etc) and some rear coil springs. Safer and more effective (in most cases) than the much cheaper two part compressors but not as good as a hydraulic one (if you have the space) which seem to be coming down in price.

I used this tool today instead of the cheaper claws version which were too damn dangerous. This tool performed flawlessly.I was changing the shocks on a Renault Clio and I felt very safe doing so.This kit has the off-set clamps which is the same as the more expensive versions. Kits of similar price to this had the straight clamps but they're not good enough.The tool is heavy but that's ok, I want it strong.I'm really really impressed and recommend you buy it.

Great bit of kit, be warned I used it for a w204 merc c class and it can handle the load but the travel in the spring still required the tapered part of the spring be additionally compressed with a cheap additional clamp to get the slack required to remove turret top nut. May be the same with other heavy duty springs.

Tried the cheap compressors and dis not so the job.Bought these and they are amazing and very trustworthy.Compressed my front springs completely with ease and no worries.Truly amazing piece of kit.Wish I'd bought these years ago

Absolute piece of junk, does not deal with modern car springs at all, never have I bought such a piece of crap. Don’t waste your money.

Mcpherson strut coil spring compressor 1000kg easy to use, strong construction, just remember to remove the yellow plastic protector when fitting a new coil spring as new springs tend to slip out when getting compressed
