Yes, I do believe it has a drain plug gasket seal that you put on the drain plug bolt.

Bob if I recall correctly, depending on the m117 config, you had to insert the filter in a specific orientation and use the supplied crush washers for each, I never used the large washer which I assume was R107 specific
