I purchased the TI-84 Plus CE in teal for my high schooler, and it’s been a fantastic investment. The color display makes graphs and equations much easier to read and understand, especially compared to older models. It’s also much lighter and thinner, so it fits easily in a backpack without adding bulk. The rechargeable battery is a major plus—no more swapping out AA batteries. A single charge lasts a long time, even with regular use. The calculator comes loaded with useful apps and is great for algebra, geometry, calculus, and even basic programming. I received the order today and it has a scratch on the screen. I will test it and if it works fine, I may ignore the scratch as I really need it now but that’s not what I expected.
