Outstanding product
I have a 1992 GMC Sierra 1500 pickup that I use for hunting, so i don't run it a lot. In order to keep the battery charged, i use a battery tender. But instead of clipping the tender to the battery I decided to use ring terminals and permanently attach the tender. Problem, the GM side terminals were not long enough. So i bought a pair of these extenders so i'd be able to easily attach the rinmg terminals of the tender.. The only 'hard" part of swapping over was getting the old studs out of the truck's cables. But after I used a 7/8 socket and channel-lock pliers they came right out (saw it on YouTube). The new extenders worked great, screwed right in my AAA-brand battery.. My battery tender is hooked up like i wanted.

These side posts are first class
The old side posts required a pair of vise grips to remove from the rubber grommets on the wires (they don't just screw on and off, I had to muscle them off). I sprayed the new side posts with CRC Battery Terminal Protector before installing them and removed the nuts on the outside of each post. The posts provide a perfect place to clamp a jump start cable or battery charger. Made of brass, they provide an ideal electrical connection. Well made, Highly recommended.

Good but short
Great replacement for my old stock posts which no longer held the cables securely to the battery. Typical no start/no charging problems. So , I put these in . Oh how I hate side post batteries. But... that's what the truck came with as stock . Stock ones are impossible to connect jumper cables or rounded charger clips to but these at least have extra post length on the outside to do that. But .... The thread length is too short from center to battery. These posts work fine.. once you manage to get them into the battery. Some battery cables have thick connectors and you need slightly longer threaded posts to get through the connector and in to the battery. Some vehicles make it difficult to reach and start the posts, especially where there's no room for a ratchet or socket and your fingers barely fit. About another 3/8 to 1/2 an inch would do it. Then you could put the included nut on first on the battery side. Then put the post through the connector and tighten into the battery recessed post terminal. If it bottoms out but doesn't secure the cable connector then you can take the nut and run it down to tighten up the cable to the battery. Should you use conductive grease to help start the threads ? Brass on steel/zinc can tend to bind . RED/OZ potential difference between the two is also a consideration. But , aren't you sick of cleaning corroded battery terminals which Are steel/zinc ? Ask the battery manufacturer. We'll see on the corrosion but looking good so far.

Lifesaver for my original '89 battery cables
I bought a new battery for my '89 Chevy S10 Blazer and had a bear of a time removing the stripped and worn GM terminal bolt on the positive side. Finally got it loose with vice-grip, pulled it out of the rubber insulator, and these new brass terminal bolts provided a perfect tight fit. No need to buy new battery cables.

They are a bit long, and i think the contact surface ought to be a bit bigger. Produce some low profile terminals with a contact surface of approximately 30 mm, and i will buy again…

A great way to properly add eye terminals to side post batteries for brake controllers, stereos and such. Good price. Fast shipping.
