I don't have an external monitor at the moment, so I just use tabletop mode and a Pro Controller. And this Hori Playstand really makes this set-up really nice to use. What I really like about this case is the security of it. There are 4 rubber pads just for the Switch itself, and 4 more rubber pads for the base of the stand. Additionally, there is a little rectangular nib on where you'd place your Switch, so it aligns perfectly center to the stand. Nice. In previous revisions of this stand, 2 plastic nibs aligned with the bottom of the Switch. But that doesn't exist in the current revision. The stand has 3 angles, which may seem a bit restrictive if you're used to tablet stands with more angles or infinite adjustability. But due to the increased height of the stand, I find that viewing angles were sufficient. While portable and folds compactly for easy storage, I do find that it takes up significantly more space than most table stands out there. But! The stability is worth it! (Extra tid-bit: While I don't charge my Switch while playing table-top, you can wire up the charger pretty easily with this stand. That's something that not all tablet stands support. Finally, what makes this Switch stand great is that it has cutouts for the fan exhaust for the Switch. A lot of tablet stands block a portion of this vent, and it's great that Hori thought of this!)

HORI is always the to-go-brand for Nintendo accessories, I've never been disappointed. I'm buying their products since the Nintendo DS launch. The stand is well made, there are rubber pads at the bottom to keep it steady and some rubber pads on the "shelf" mount to keep the Switch in place (and don't scratch it). You can adjust the stand to several angles to find your best orientation to play your favourite games. I usually use it when the main TV is busy and I want to have a quick session with Zelda, using the Pro controller for max performance. I got the black one but there's also a red one "Mario" edition but the features are essentially the same. It's a useful add-on for your Switch if you prefer to play with the Pro controller and want a secure place to put your Switch (and avoid slipping and other issues). Highly recommended.

Die Belüftungsöffnungen im Ständer tragen dazu bei, dass meine Nintendo Switch nicht überhitzt, selbst während längerer Spielsitzungen. Ein kleiner Kritikpunkt ist, dass der Ständer etwas plastiklastig wirkt und vielleicht nicht so robust ist wie einige andere Alternativen auf dem Markt. Zudem könnte der Ständer etwas höher sein, um einen besseren Blickwinkel beim Spielen auf dem Tisch zu ermöglichen. Alles in allem kann ich den HORI Playstand für Nintendo Switch mit 4 Sternen bewerten. Er ist ein praktischer Begleiter für unterwegs und bietet einen stabilen Halt für meine Konsole. Der Ständer hat meine Erwartungen größtenteils erfüllt, und ich bin zufrieden damit.
