I purchased this story when we were learning about gardens and seeds. I had no idea it would teach so much more. Excellent book for social skills and the children learned a new word, greedy.

The kids in my class are asking for this book over and over. It is simplistic in nature and lacks detail in the story, but is fine for quick read. The children love the character and had good conversation and discussion about generosity and team work. We even touched on the concept of abundance vs. scarcity.

This book is great for ages 5-10, and the pictures are very engaging. The story helps kids learn that they shouldn't be greedy and need to sometimes ask for help from others. The story is very simple, and could have been a little bit better. Overall, a very visually appealing book and sweet story. I would recommend it to others.

This book has a great moral to the story. We talk about selfishness and how we do not go somewhere without letting others know where we are going, also the importance of friends and helping others.
