They proved to be so popular that they eventually released a handful of albums plus filmed the immortal Blues Brothers movie, only coming to an abrupt end when Belushi died in early 1982. All of the unique tracks from their albums are featured on these two CDs, pulled from The Blues Brothers Original Soundtrack, the Definitive Collection and the Best of The Blues Brothers. Includes 'Soul Man', 'Rubber Biscuit', 'She Caught the Katy', 'Peter Gunn Theme', 'Everybody Needs Somebody' and 'Gimme Some Lovin'. Their voices are not very good, but I like most of the songs. If videos were available for all of the songs it would be great.

YAY! Found a bonus!
I've been replacing my lost/missing/etc old CDs (yes, I still play CDs) ~ wasn't familiar with this "Best Of" "Complete" Blues Brothers collection (and not even sure if it's still in print) regardless it's a great "house cleaning", background, "get me out of bad mood" set, and also I appreciate order/delivery notifications being on time.

The Blues Forever
This is a great complete score, for all you fans who bought the original Blues Brother's soundtrack then you won't wanna miss out on this 2 disc set. It contains everything from the film soundtrack plus the live Blue Brother's cd that followed. Such a great talented band and actors. You don't want to miss out on this set!

Très bon album avec un très bon rythme. Toutes les chansons sont connues, beaucoup de chanteurs et de chanteuses talentueux. Plusieurs compilations des Blues Brothers existent, elles sont toutes bien, je ne savait pas laquelle choisir donc j'ai prie les 3 que j'ai trouvé sur Amazon, pas bien pour le porte monnaie ! Les différentes versions de CD sont plus ou mois enrichies de titres, à vous de faire votre choix.

Die Blues Brothers scheinen direkt aus dem Film gesprungen zu sein - hier muss man einfach mit im Takt wippen! Ich bin kein Musikkritiker, aber das ist auch nicht nötig, um von diesem Sound begeistert zu sein. Einfach Musik FÜHLEN und die nächste Party vorbereiten: Genau dazu inspiriert mich diese CD!

A good selection of songs, but unsure whether they sung by the original artists,however a good purchase to get a excellent cross section of the Blues Brothers albums.
