Dieser Kohlerost des kleinen Weber, dem Smokey Joe, ist an und für sich nichts besonderes aber: Die Abstände der Stäbe ist größer sodass die Brikettes sich durch die eigene Asche nicht mehr selber ersticken. Die Asche kann leichter runter fallen und die Kohle bekommt weiterhin ausreichend Luft und hält konstanter die Temperatur. Wenn man sich noch die Mühe macht im Smokey Joe Premium im Kessel unten eine Ventilation so wie bei großen 57er einzubauen (siehe Foto), so gibt der kleine Smopkey Joe erst richtig Gas!
