Nice tea, weak flavour
It is a nice tea, but it has a very weak flavour for me.

My first impressions we're not that great. But... I gave it a bit of chance to fully develop and it's smooth and malty! For an affordable Pu Erh it's not bad! Good for a daily drinker. It won't blow your mind, but it's pleasantly decent!

Great for the price and work very well. I would recommend this product to others.

Good flavor if you use 5 ounces of water instead of 8 ounces as recommended. This is a mild pur-eh. The leaves are fine and will pass through the holes in many tea posts. Use a strainer to avoid an excess of tea leaves in the drinking cup. The pieces are easy to break apart.

I am a tea lover and ordered Numi Aged Pu'erh brick mostly out of curiosity. I liked the idea of a pu'erh brick that was easy to beak up/measure. I was very pleased with this tea, it is equal or better than pu-ers costing much more. This is a lovely silky smooth tea with a pleasant round sweetness and none of the "peaty " flavor that plagues many pu-erhs. The cost is very reasonable - especially when you consider multiple steeping. I used 1/2 section in my small tea pot at a time. The 2nd and 3rd steeps are still richly colored and flavorful. Pu-erh tea in general takes some getting used to, I suggest that those new to pu-erh keep an open mind, and try it a few times before making judgment. Do not expect the bold brisk cup that you get from black tea, pu-erh is mellow, subtle and has a unique 'mouth feel' Pu-erh is a tea to sit back and enjoy, and -especially with multiple steepings, to spend an afternoon with. There are several posts about the right way to brew pu-erh and about 'washing' the tea. I think that 'washing' is misunderstood, Pu-erh is very dry and compressed, the point is to hydrate and release the leaf so that it is prepared for steeping. I suggest the following: Break up the compressed tea into small pieces, soak in very hot (just off boiling) water 60 seconds and pour off, 1st steep 2 1/2 minutes, 2nd and third steep 3 minutes each. Between steepings drain the leaf completely and allow to cool.

This tea is as described. I drank a pot a night before having some lab work done and I dropped a point or two on my BAD cholesterol readings. That was just after trying it for the first time. I did notice that it is great at relieving after dinner bloat. I had no problem with bowel discomfort at bed time when I drink this tea. This tea did not have many poor reviews, and I now see why. This is some great tea that seems to work for what I bought it for: BETTER HEALTH. Now, it may not be for everyone, but it seems to work for me. I may have to add this item to Amazon Prime Pantry because I have been drinking this tea a lot. If you are a first-time buyer, please take the time to read up on this type of tea. You will find that it has quite a few uses. This tea does not have a bad taste, nor does it have a bad odor. Oh, and by the way, this tea is as smooth as silk. That's what I think and I'm sticking to it. Try it for yourself and you may find it to be your new tea of choice. They have many other blends too, so check them out.
