Having bought this ointment several times over the years I thought it about time I reviewed it. This ointment is a miracle cure for small cuts, abrasions or wounds on pets; I've used it on 4 dogs and a chinchilla. My 4 year old Vizsla often gets cuts as his fur is short and he has a habit of running into brambles (or a barbed-wire fence) if he smells a fox/rabbit etc. Each wound has been treated with this ointment and all have healed quickly. Currently my mum's juvenile Cocker Spaniel has a cut through his hind stopper pad, which he was chewing incessantly. I bought a new tube of ointment and after applying a small amount 4 times a day for just three days it is almost healed and doesn't bother him anymore. If you own a furry pet, keep a tube handy!!

I bought this back in Feb as part of my first aid box for my Frenchie and t is only now, end of May, that I have needed to use it. He had a very sore skin fold from his eye to the side of his nose, am not sure if it has been irritated by something or suffered an injury as I keep his folds clean. However, I cleaned it 3 times a day and then applied the ointment and within a day I could see a difference, by day 3 it is almost healed - no redness at all. The ointment consistency is wax like so once it is applied it stays put and also keeps any dirt and water out. Highly recommend, won't be without it now!

Works really well and totally does what it says it will - heals wounds. Only negative is that dog doesn't like to be held to apply cream and then loves the taste of it (licking)! Vet says training needed to get dog used to having cream applied and distraction from licking.

I purchased this product as my French Bulldog had problems with sores and rashes in between his folds on his face. Within 5 days this product had cleared the problem up completely. It must be applied twice a day and I would recommend cleaning your dogs folds with a wet towel and warm salt water before applying. Also make sure the area is dry before applying. I am also applying the cream to a cut on my dogs nose and it is helping heal the area. Excellent product and very cheap for something so effective.
