I've had the Kimaru AC adapter for a couple of weeks and it's been working fine. I really like being freed from battery swapping (especially since my Canon charger won't keep the battery fully charged). I thought the cord would be a hassle but I can raise my tripod about 5 feet before the adapter brick starts to dangle. The brick is light anyway and won't tug on the camera. The DC coupler fit nicely into my camera, not tight and easy to remove. I chose this product over similar ones because I saw it has a ferrite ring built into the cable to reduce noise and smooth out the power getting to the camera. I think the cord length is fine, but I still need to use an extension cable in my studio. Overall, I'm happy with the adapter, mostly because I don't have to monitor my battery or worry it will shut off during a long video shot.

I wanted to use my Canon 600D/T3I as a webcam for OBS but needed more power than a battery could provide. This dummy battery fits perfectly, battery door closes, and I can run my canon as long as I need.

It does exactly as it is described. As always, while packaged and quick delivery.

**UPDATE** After communications with the seller I was able to get the adapter to work with my DSLR. The battery cover must be closed for the product to work properly. I do not know why he seller's message to me went to my junk email folder so it took a long time for me to see the message, yet it is working fine and I have modified my review from 1-Star to 4-Stars. It works now and does what I wanted it to do... I purchased this to utilize a DSLR as my webcam, but the device was never recognized by my DSLR. Luckily, it did not brick my camera as I was able to use a battery, but if you plan on streaming a substantial amount of time then a battery does not meet the requirement. The only positive I can write about this product is it was an inexpensive test to my desired usage.

Much better than the cheap version's, my camera is moving all night on a telescope in cold or hot weather. This has a nice connection to the box, which others is a weak point that break fast. This is good and solid product for a Canon whether you're studio photographer or Astro photographer.

The adapter does the job it is required to do. Fits perfectly in my Canon T3i battery chamber, and the battery cover closes neatly. The camera functions absolutely normal. You won’t go wrong with this product.

When making YouTube videos, I can’t stand running out of batteries, especially when you’re getting a good take! Dummy batteries take some of the worry away. Works well and at a great price too!

Plug to your DSLR and forget. This small gadget saves you time, effort, and embarrassment when you run out of charge in the middle of an important presentation! very robust and has a soft blue light that tells you it’s on. No negative features. very satisfied with the product.
