XLAB Torpedo Versa 200 - Black

Most BTA products of this type advertise some type of watertight integrity, but few actually deliver on that promise. I'm happy to say this one has! Here's what I particularly liked about the Versa 200. - The straw is long enough to be cut down to perfect length. It's a tight fit into the hole, but it does fit. - Bottle easily pops in and out of the cradle to facilitate quick refilling. - Clear spill-proof cap keeps water in, even across bumpy roads. - The Dolphin valve works, though they don't quite fit the hole as probably intended. (Xlabs Support recommended I use a silicone glue on the valve to keep it in place. That was too messy. I experimented with putting a piece of electrical tape over the hole, puncturing the tape, and then placing the valve. Success! No leakage! Photo shows what I mean.) - Bike computer mount comes off easily, if needed. (I have no computer, so bye bye!) - The aerobar mounts didn't exactly sit flush on my aerobars, but the straps still prevented rattling. I was VERY surprised by that. I didn't experiment with the quick-fill cap, but other reviews speak to its abilities. Thanks, Xlab!

I have been using this device attached to my triathlon bike and it works grat. Depending on the length of the rice you might need to bring extra fluids on separate bottles, but you can always refill the tank easily. No splashing, it is properly set on the handlebars, meaning, it wont move or loosen. Love the device

It is more expensive but it is great for holding the bike computer and a larger bottle holder. My problems are that is tends to slide down my aero bars and could rattle onto my fork cap. Quite heavy and expensive but very sturdy so I would recommend it if you don’t have an integrated BTA

My first issue when purchasing this bottle was that it arrived without a straw. I returned the initial item and reordered the item, but the next problem is that even though it says it is compatible with my wahoo bike computer, it only mounts my computer in a horizontal position no matter what I do. What's the point of having a computer mount if the computer is going to be horizontally tilted from the viewing angle? It is unfortunate that the bottle I want and is used by most athletes is having these issues.

Improvement over my old Speedfil A2 bottle setup, this is much faster to drink from than the Speedfil and a lot less messy (my bike and legs used to be fairly covered in sticky drink residue). Also, fast and easy to re-fill the bottle on the go.

Convenient and aero. I can put my Garmin 530 in the bracket. Works great!

Simple to install. Recommend trimming the straw to your preferred length. I removed the computer mount since I only use a GPS watch. Expensive for what it is but not many options to choose from. Worked as expected for my 70.3.

Good quality

It sounded so good but doesn't fit the aero bars on my tri-bike - as they run underneath and not on top of the handlebar. Am thinking of finding a way to cut the metal frame back as that may allow me to fit it.

Ajustable fácilmente a cualquier anchura de acoples. Poder cambiar el bidón por uno normal es un punto relevante. Las dos posiciones para el gps también.

I bought this for a 70.3 Ironman. It was very stable even on the rough roads around Edinburgh. The drinking straw was excellent and easy to clip out of the way. The Garmin mount was pretty steady though it did vibrate going over cobbles.
