Pearson Education BTEC Level 3 National Engineering Student Book

in this book it covers practically everything needed when completing a btec in engineering. It has maths, health and safety, also provides electrical, electronic and mechanical principles, circuits and devices and engineering drawing. along with other areas such as business operations in engineering. It has been a very useful book in my studies and i would strongly advise getting yourself kitted out with one.

This is an excellent source of information for any student of BTEC Level 3 Engineering. Each chapter is clearly written, massively informative and provides a great source of information for coursework and further research. Even complex information is presented in a clear and accessible way. It is essential reading for any student undertaking this course.

Its great for the first year, covers the basic units (not all of them sadly) definitely helpful if you're new to the course but don't expect to receive all the info you need form this book

A very good book and if you're a teacher or a student this is just the job for the course. I have never taught Engineering BTEC before, so I got it to prepare myself for the course. All the units are well layed out and explained. Probably the most useful bit, is all the assignments are provided with guides for how to get pass, merit and distinction. You have to create your own proforma's for the marking of the pupils work, but half hour spent on word and that sorts it. The kids now have their own copies and it is very useful for them when doing the assignments as all the information and support is given.
