Thunderbolt Dock 230W G2 (2UK38AA)

The price was good, quick delivery. Power cable was from a different region. I have connected my 4K screen, several USB devices, keyboard, mouse, headphone all to the dock, which is connected via a single thunderbolt cable to my HP 840 Elitebook. A simple press on the top of the dock boots the PC, and another press will shut it down. Looks very good on my desk, especially since my PC is hidden behind the monitor. I recommend this item.

Compleix les expectatives que hi tenia posades amb escreix. No he comprat el mòdul de só per que el monitor que tinc porta altaveus incorporats. però la ventatge de tenir un únic connector de càrrega i connexió, és practiquíssim i net de cables, un sol pel portàtil.

I wanted this to connect two 4k 28" Samsung panels to the laptop and make this HP Elitebook into a really usable work tool Dock works fine but when you connect both 4k panels only one would show the 2160x3840 resolution the other would be 1080x1920 no matter what I did. Then came across a forum post on the HP support site that mentions using a USB-C to DP cable "make sure the usb-c to DP connection is done to the usb-c port marked as a Thunderbolt port (thunder w/arrow label)" YOU MUST USE THE ThunderBolt marked port on the RIGHT of the two DisplayPort sockets and NOT the Left hand one marked with SS / DP ( as the dock is fairly small and difficult to see I have attached a picture here ) I used the Syntech USB C to DisplayPort Cable(4K@60Hz), Thunderbolt 3 to DisplayPort Cable which works perfectly, ( as pictured )

La periferica funziona egregiamente in perfetto stile hp. Ma pur essendo nuova la garanzia del costruttore risulta già attivata e già scaduta (22.10.2022).

Die perfekte Ergänzung zum HP-Laptop bzw. der mobilen Workstation. Alle benötigten Anschlüsse sind mehr als ausreichend vorhanden. Durch das leistungsstarke Netzteil mit 230W lädt sich der Akku auch während der Benutzung des PCs zügig auf. (Gleich schnell wie mit dem Standard-Netzteil.) Sehr praktisch ist auch das separat verfügbare (bzw. je nach Ausführung inkludierte) Audio-Modul. Damit fallen lästige Headsets für Onlinegespräche, Videokonferenzen etc. weg und man kann auch zu zweit oder zu dritt problemlos über ein Audio-Modul an einem Gespräch teilnehmen.
