Der FDTI-Chip spricht für sich, alle Signale stehen zur verfügung, ich benötigte neben RxD und TxD auch RTS und CTS, alles vorhanden und Ausgabe als echtes V.24 Protokoll, +/- 10 Volt, daher muss wohl auch ein Max 232 verbaut sein, Klasse ! Ich steuere damit einen 38 Jahre alten Funkempfänger mit Win 10. Eines der wenigen , die wirklich funktionieren !

Very nice piece of kit. Highly recommended. StartTech makes excellent gear and the FDI chips are an outstanding choice. It works reliably on Win10 x64 and has good and working drivers. COM port retention works as advertised. We have purchased several of these cables and used them for more than a year in office and EMI rich environments. No data corruption was detected like with Prolific that has faulty drivers. Remarks: What would be appreciated is perhaps a smaller size of the circuit box. There is also a bit of heat dissipation. Nothing alarming, but it is noticeable - the circuit box gets warm to the touch. Where there is heat - there is power loss. We didn't have any problems in regard to data delay or EM interference however proper testing would need to be conducted. No obvious foil or braid shielding could be observed on the RS232 wires and the circuit box which is entirely made of plastic. USB wire is likely shielded - destructive disassembly would be needed to confirm this.
