To be honest the Amazon Basic Cables are much better than Apple Original Cables. As most of the apple products the lightning cables are also very costly but it hardly stays few months. Unfortunately Apple has done nothing to improve it's quality in the last decade. Amazon Basic Cables are more reliable than most of the generic cables available in the market which may be cheap but can even damage your device itself. The price is very reasonable for it's quality. Amazon has further improved the quality compared to earlier versions as well. also quality of type C cables are very good. I have one of each cables in most of the rooms & office. I highly recommend this product to my friends.

I bought two of these wires for charging the iPhone.While charging the iPhone, I smelled a foul scent and was not sure what’s happening until I held the wire and found out that the end charging tip is heating up and got some burns on it.Glad that I avoided a home fire outbreak and just raise request for repair but won’t trust any of these worries while unattended.Seems the material used at the charging tip is quite cheap and hence are eligible for heating leading to fire born issues

Used it for few seconds as soon as I received it. Will be using the wire extensively for my iPad which is affixed on a wall far from the power source. The wire is heavy and feels really well built. Charges effectively and is really long (10ft). Ideal to charge your devices at a distance from the power source. Recommend it so far. Will update my review after using the cable for a couple of months.

Surprisingly I find Amazon basics cable more better than original. They tend to work well and are certified - which is important for Apple Products. This USB to Lightning cable is second purchase and both have worked well. Can trust Amazon Basics Cables and accessories.

Very well built lightning cable. Time will tell if it will fray at the terminal necks but a lot more heavy duty than the original apple cable.

I used to prefer Belkin and Anker in cables and accessories for my samsung and iphone. But I dropped Anker because last 2 purchase from anker didn't last more than 2 month and i feel belkin is more better.This time I tried Amazon basics and i got this cable @21 AED.This one doing the same job like other high end (so called) cables. Far better than the one comes with iphone.

Got it for great discount from Amazon works great with iPad 12.9 and iPhone 6 Plus and really long so pretty handy ...million times better than other cables out there in market for same price...I am buying this for all my apple devices at home now

The build quality of the cable is very good. It is better than the original apple cable. The ends have very good support to ensure the cable can last long without damage. Price is awesome!!
