I have been wanting to make the jump to the pistol optic, and this dovetail mount works great. I did not want to get my slide milled, and in CA there are not a lot of new options due to horrible politics. This mount works great, and the customer service was also incredible because I had a missing part (most likely an Amazon return). Shout out to Henry for making it right and in record time. Do not hesitate to buy, I have now set up both a M&P and a Glock with these mounts.

Picked up this red dot mount for my S&W and it's great. The tolerances are incredibly tight but once you get it on, it's super secure and will insure your sight remains accurate over years of use. Very happy with the build quality, tolerance, and ease of installation with all tools included. I recommend it for anyone looking to mount a Trijicon RMR-style sight to their S&W.

This adapter is one piece (better than 2 piece alternatives, imo) and I would suggest the stronger Titanium made version. Installation is tight but it should be. WIl have to'fit' but that's also to be expected with this type of adapter. Use some lighttight to secure the installation, imo.

This is a great way to add a red dot to several different compatible handguns that aren't optic-ready. I put on on a Glock a while ago, got this second one for a S&W M&P 2.0 Shield 45. I still think this is an excellent product. But here's why I rated it only 4 stars: With the install on the Glock I had to use a punch (I used nylon, brass or a sight pusher will do of course) to get the plate into and centered in the rear sight dovetail. But that wasn't a problem. That's how I think things should be. It was quite different with the S&W. Whereas it was EXTREMELY (!!!) difficult getting the factory sight off, the adapter plate slipped right in the dovetail, but all it took was one finger and almost no force to insert it and center it. In fact, tilt the gun to one side and the plate will slide on its own. In other words, the plate fit was very loose. I don't think that's ideal. Fortunately these plates come with a set screw, and although I don't know for sure yet I'm "just hoping" that the set screw will hold the adapter securely in the S&W and the red dot I mounted on the plate will stay put with lots of firings. Would I recommend this product for compatible guns? So far, yes!

I put this on my S&W M&P 2.0. I did buy a sight pusher and tork screwdriver from Amazon to help with installation. After removing the rear stock sight and cleaning the dovetail slot. The DPP plate fit in snugly with no effort. Using calipers to center it I applied blue loctite to the set screw. Using the tork screwdriver tightened it to the recommended 15 pounds per inch. Easy Peasy. Don’t forget to capture the ejector drop spring.

Did not work for my M&P Shield 9MM (EZ)- bought 2- returned one and modified the other. Now works great. They say that there isn't one for the EZ, so just not descriptive enough
