Makes laser marks dark
This works really really well at helping to create a mark on objects with a diode laser. Simple to use and washes right off with water leaving the etching in tact. I have it 5 stars because it works great BUT it is really high priced.

Worth the extra cost
Well, there are a number of other laser marking sprays out there for less, this is the only one I’ve found that says it will mark glass as well as metal. It does both very well. The excess also cleans off easily with just warm water. The 12 ounce can has lasted for over two dozen applications on pint glasses. It is not empty yet. So if you want extra sharp, black laser etching on glass, this is the product for you.

Works Great
Kind of expensive but works perfectly every time.

Works really good just expensive
I like this cermark and am happy that it works so good on glass. I haven't tried it on other materials yet. It makes the etching come out pure black as seen in the photos. It washes off with water and only needs one coat so this can should last for a long time. I just wish it wasn't 100 dollars a can. Crazy expensive. I will be trying cheaper alternatives in the future to keep costs down.

Nozzle issue
This is definitely the best marketing spray there is, however, in my last order at 94 or five dollars a pop, the nozzle clogged about a third way through the can, and despite my effort to free it soaking overnight in acetone, etc., high compressed air, I have had no success being able to get the rest of the can.

Works Well
This is the best of the best... however, I do not think it is a great value for the money. I have found other laser marking products that are equally as good for half the price. I recommend this product for laser engraving of metals but would suggest that one research what is available.

Just didn't work
Very inconsistent results, and certainly not worth $100 for a 12 oz can. I followed instructions and couldn't get good, repeatable results with tile, glass, or stainless steel on my 90 watt CO2 laser from Full Spectrum, even after three test grids and cleaning with denatured alcohol. My best results finally came with 85% power, 6% speed, and 500 dpi, but definitely not something I liked. It sprays evenly, dries quickly, and washes off easily with water. On tile, I just use white gloss spray paint from Ace Hardware, and Tempera paint on glass, but I'm still at a loss for a good solution on stainless. Good Luck!

It works great!
I do a lot of laser engraving with a CO2 laser, and although some people prefer other methods of engraving tiles and glass with other media, the Cermark spray comes out sharper and more defined than the other methods do. Granted, it's on the pricey side for a 12oz can at $100, but it dries fast, and only a thin layer of Cermark is needed to do the job. As with any test media, make sure that you do a power and speed test card to see what settings work best on your particular laser.
