easy to install, always feels loose
The screw holes on the mount are 16" apart and must be mounted on studs to hold the weight. The bracket part has a maximum of about 2 inches of movement, which means your TV will be centered between studs, with about 2 inches side to side movement. If you don't like that, I can only assume Pipishell is saying "TOUGH LUCK BUDDY, BETTER LUCK NEXT TIME! WE SAVE 20% ON MATERIAL COSTS THIS WAY!" I assume that's what they're saying by making a TV mount that forces the position of your TV to be between studs. They could have easily made it more flexible by making the mount wider, but did they? NO. Because it's more important to save money than to offer value. In the end, they're saving 50 cents worth of material but at the cost of functionality. Oh well. What can we do? We live in a world where everybody's cutting corners, consumer be damned. Here's a half-witted product that will perform 80% of what you want it to do so that we can save 10% on material costs. That's really what the world has come to. The part that mounts on the wall is okay. It's not very thick steel, but it is enough to just barely hold a 55" TV up. The bracket that goes on the TV side is okay too... I admire how they saved more money by making the left and the right pieces the same so it's not symmetrical. No attempt at making it look good, luckily it's behind the TV so nobody sees it. The bracket has a jiggle when it's mounted. The bottom of TV can actually be jiggled forward and back a few inches. I thought the bracket wasn't locked in place at first... but they left so much tolerance that it feels like it's not latched in even aft it's latched in. You get what you pay for I guess. I could have gotten a nice TV mount for 50% more dough, but I opted for this because it was cheaper. Little did I know that it was cheaper because of all the corners they cut in product quality. I thought it was because they somehow innovated a more ingenious way of producing the product in a cost effective manner to deliver same quality at a lower cost. But alas, I expected too much of humanity. The only thing we can expect these days is cheaper products made cheaper by cutting corners. Idiot jimmy found a way to make jars of olives cheaper: by removing one olive from each jar... turns out consumers don't notice if there's only one missing. That's pretty much how companies increase profit margins these days... by delivering less for same price. There used to be a time when companies stood by their products and services, and their primary goal was to give value to their customers. Those days are long gone I see. There's hardly any pride anymore in theses products... no pride in their companies. We truly live in a disposable society where even pride is disposable.

Worked perfectly for my tv
Used to mount 50" tv on wall for workout room. Once you mount the bracket to the wall you kind of clip the TV to it. Has 2 release latches on a string so you can pull down to unlatch and remove the tv. Thin guage metal etc but works well.
