I put in a good battery but it will not work - what can I do? I tried 2 batteries. Is there trick to it?

Could you please try the following steps, and let us know if it works? (1) Turn the battery cover counterclockwise and remove it. (2) Insert one new AAA battery, negative terminal first. (3) Replace the battery cover, and twist it clockwise. (4) Make sure that the indicator line (on the battery cover) and the dot (above the indicator line) are perfectly aligned. This tells you that the cover is correctly positioned. If the battery cover isn't in place and fully closed, it may cause the device to malfunction. You can download the instructions here. Is it noisy or loud? In this guys video it sounds lke a horrible high pitched sound!

I am very happy with this product, no paste needed, sound is not an issue for me, in my opinion, the noise it makes is due to the sonic part of cleaning, I have had pure sonic toothbrushes in the past, the sound is typical for this feature, great for when at the job and home, very portable! definitely a big win at a great price. go for it and the best to you!
