I have had these bulbs burning for over 8 years for 10 hours a day through Florida’s rainy seasons, 2 hurricanes and countless tropical storms and not one of them has failed yet. I have a row of 6 yard pole style with 3 hanging fixtures on each one as well as7 other wall mounted fixtures and all of them are still burning. Phenomenal quality and beauty as accent lighting. They give off a decorative light but not for task lighting. If you need more light then go with led but you won’t have the Old English Christmas Carol effect that I wanted. Buying more now because I’m adding more lamp posts to my yard. They only use 3 watts per bulb and are much more energy efficient than other options and they don’t attract spider and bugs.

They work great fast delivery

I bought these for accent lighting for the candelabra I bought used. Regular lights were just too bright when used with the center light, but these are literally flickering like candles. My next game day is gonna be lit... lol Just don't buy these thinking they will be bright. It's 3 watts, so you won't be reading by them or anything Edit: it's October 2024 and they still look great

So these work well. I like the flicker although it’s a fast flicker someone told me that they would slow down over time. I think they already have. The light is more orange (Halloweeny) than amber glow which is what it is. Overall pretty cool

These bulbs arrived timely, were packaged well & reasonably priced.

I bought the box of ten to use in four electric window candles. Figured that way I would have six spares since nothing lasts forever. These are supposed to last 1500 hours. Three days was the most I got from any of the ten. Some only lasted a few hours. They can really get you chasing your tail. When I would go to replace a bad one it would start working again, briefly! Just to rule out the remote chance that all four of my candles were defective, I bench tested each bulb with gator clips and wires. Finally I returned all ten and put my original flicker bulbs back in. My originals don't flicker anymore, but at least they light up. On a positive note, the return process was unbelievably fast and easy. Three minutes on Amazon.com and 30 seconds in a UPS store. For this reason alone, I'm increasing my 0-star rating to a 1-star rating.

The price was very good. However, they are very dim and not all of the bulbs seem to work consistently. Some light immediately, while others seem to hesitate or go off and on. They may be better in small fixtures, but will not do well in a ceiling light. I wanted a candle effect for Halloween, and these just did not quite perform as I hoped.

These types of lights aren't made to put out a bunch of light so if that's why you're buying them don't. They are made for ambience and do exactly what they are supposed to. These two Christmas candle decorations belonged to my mother-in-law and my wife has had them for what seems like forever. These are one of her most treasured things. The lights that were in them weren't working all that great so I bought these and some from another company. All 10 of these lights worked perfectly when I checked them so the quality is very consistent and each one works extremely well. The set from the other company came with 12 lights. All 12 worked but 7 of them worked much better than 5 of them so the set of 12 will be getting returned

Just what I wanted and give a nice ambiance to any room. It seems to be a great product. If you want to read by this light it is not that bright for that but give a very nice warm candle like atmosphere

It is a nice piece for decoration and looks great. This is best for xmas, birthday parties decoration, Specifically in the night it looks great.

How all 10 survived delivery is beyond me. 10 bulbs packaged loose in a pouch made of bubble wrap. The box tinkled when I picked it up. Fortunately no casualties. Tested and all worked. They flicker really well. The colour, however...they are by no means yellow. They are very, very orange. As many have said, they don't cast alot of light, but they add ambience. I don't hate them, but I wouldn't choose them again.

I didn't realize the glow of the lights is orange, it's for Halloween but not for every day use.
