Timex Weekender 40 mm Watch

I have several Timex digital watches and saw this advertised on MSN and decided to buy it. I really like the large stylish display with clear numbering on an off white face. As expected, the flat mineral glass is great and the Indigo is really outstanding on this watch. Always reliable, Timex is an obvious chioce for those seeking reliabilty in any situation.

I bought this in September 2020 and the battery is still going four years on. I’ve never had a watch battery that has lasted like this one. Great watch too.

Nice clear time face, classic look and good quality item. I bought this for my Dad as a gift as he usually wears a complete beater of a watch for his day to day work around the farm. This is smart without being too dressy or fussy for him. The strap feels a bit flimsy but it is comfortable and has stood up to his wearing of it (couple of evenings per week for 2 years) so its better than it looks.

A larger diameter face 40mm, relatively plain so easy to read if you need reading glasses. The cream face is very subtle but easier on the eye than stark white. Strap is a little thin but OK. Generally supplied traps on most low cost watches are one of the area manufacturers skimp to save money and no different here. This a a very nice every day wear quartz watch. I really like it. Its a dress watch but as an every day knock about for not that much money I am very pleased.

I really like this watch, it has an elegant simplicity to it. It's fantastic value for money and the back light is a real bonus. The brown leather strap is quite thin but that can be easily replaced. I think the face of the watch looks more like an off white than cream, which I prefer. It does have a loud tick but I got use to it quickly enough.

A great watch, easy to set and read, looks great and not stupid money.

A nice enough watch and meeting all my requirements... until after 5 months of use the second hand got detached from the spindle and after a few hours the other hands got stuck. The watch may have fallen on the ground but it was sturdy enough for nothing else to break. To send it back under the warranty, I need to pay the postage for sending it back and include 'a check or postal order' at £3.50 for handling and postage. Mmmm. If this hadn't happened, I would have given the watch 5 stars, as it is simple and good looking, with a nice strap and eminently readable.

Orologio visivamente accattivante, di stampo vintage. È la versione col diametro 40mm, risulta comunque elegante al polso, ma ne esiste un'altra da 38mm. Il cinturino sembra fatto di cartapesta, si segna subito, è comunque di vera pelle, intendiamoci, ma è veramente fino. Si può cambiare molto facilmente, visto il periodo ottimo che stanno vivendo gli orologi con cinturini NATO. Un altro difetto è il rumore delle lancette: in una stanza vuota si sentono, eccome! Tutto questo è comunque perdonabile, per l'aspetto fantastico che ha l'orologio al polso, per la qualità del meccanismo (e della stupenda retroilluminazione Indiglo) e per la comodità che ha al polso. E, soprattutto, per il prezzo: io ho sfruttato un grande sconto di Amazon, pagandolo 30€, ma questo orologio vale anche i 60€, suo prezzo base.

Es un reloj muy polivalente que se puede usar en distintos códigos de vestimenta. Me ha sorprendido la calidad de la correa, ya que había leído comentarios negativos sobre ella, sin embargo me ha parecido muy cómoda y de buena calidad. El pedido solo ha tardado 3 días en llegar, así que estoy muy contento en ese sentido. Vendedor muy recomendable.

Habe ein älteres Modell (T2N654PF 38mm) Weekender für meine Frau bestellt. Und von lauter Begeisterung dann auch noch diese Weekender 40 hinterher für mich bestellt. Man denkt dass die 2 zusätzliche millimeter so gut wie keine Rolle spielen, ist aber nicht so. Die Uhr ist deutlich größer und sieht sehr klobig auf meinem 17cm Handgelenk aus. Deswegen geht die Uhr leider zurück. Werde mir auch die 38mm Version besorgen. Und ja, die Uhr tickt sehr laut, stört mich aber nicht besonders.

ich bin von meiner ersten Timex wirklich begeistert . soviel Uhr für das Geld muss man tatsächlich lange suchen . seit dem ersten Tag brauchte ich die Uhr noch nicht einmal korrigieren . sie läuft sehr genau . die cleane Optik , und die indiglio Hintergrundbeleuchtung sind einfach toll . das war bestimmt nicht meine letzte Timex .
