Forum Biblical Wig and Beard Set

This wig and beard were fantastic for Walt's role in the church Christmas pageant this week, standing reverently by a manger with the baby Jesus, wearing the Joseph costume we got here. The effect was wonderful, inspiring all who were present!

I bought it for my husband’s costume, and it’s actually good quality.

I bought this for a Duck Dynasty costume I put together this year and it worked pretty good. The wig and the beard are two pieces. The wig part stays on your head similar to a shower cap. The elastic however didn't go all the way around the rim of the cap. The beard is held on by two little loops of elastic that is meant to go on each ear. This hurts your ears after it stays on for too long. I modified it by looping some rubber bands through the loops so that it goes all the way around your head and over your ears. It is way more comfortable that way and can wear it for much longer. The wig also does shed a bit which is to be expected. It is also trimmable if need be since it does get tangled easily. This is a good buy for what you pay for (especially at the local party stores). Highly recommended.

Forrest Gump Outfit I used this beard and wig for dressing up as Forrest Gump for a Halloween party. I won first place in a costume party with this. I received the beard and wig folded and sealed in plastic. I didn't have any problems getting it out of the packaging and fluffing out the beard and wig. It was exactly like the picture had depicted. The beard had elastic bands that fit around your ears and the wig also had elastic to fit around your head. I have a large head and both fit very comfortable with no issues or problems. My younger niece is much smaller than me and both fit her just as comfortable. Functionality I wore the beard for the entire night. It didn't try to slip off while I was dancing or running around. It was hot in the bar but the beard and wig didn't add any additional heat to me. The materials used wear very durable. It didn't fray or shed any of the fibers throughout the entire night. The beard never got in my mouth while I was drinking or eating. It stayed very stationary and out of my way. It was very easy to breath with the beard on as well. It wasn't blocking or tickling my nose at any point. Overview This beard looks and functions perfectly. It works great for anybody wanting to dress up and doesn't have time to grow out your hair in time for the part. Any age or size person can use it without any problems. The materials are tough and don't fray. The price was very reasonable and was exactly as it was described. I would recommend this to anyone looking to portray a bearded long haired man.

It appears the wig was used previously or very poor care of it by the company. The packaging was ripped in half, the sticky back it should have been in was crumpled up and stuck to the hair so a lot of the hair ripped out and the hair is a disaster or snarls.

Needs to be styled a bit but that’s usually how it goes with wigs 😉. It’s soft, long and full. It was perfect for our “Bible-times” VBS costumes.

All the hair on the beard is the same length so the mouth is not visible unless you trim the moustache hair. Infact you need to modify the mouth quite a bit to make it look like that. After all that, you will need double sided tape to make it stay on your face properly. would’ve been nice if it was included. Very fluffy wig compared to what is shown but it’s about right. With some minor modifications it’s fine.
