I love mirror mask, it is one of my favorite movies. Even though the price was a bit much it was worth it. I love the way the book pages feel and the amazing story, typography, and imagery is a magical addition to my library. If you feel something like a writers/artist block. Just take a look at this book. It might give you ideas.

Even though this book is described as the "Children's Edition," it's long narrative and artful layout are sure to hold the attention of readers of all ages. The book has the same artistic quality of the movie and blends illustrated elements and movie stills together to create a unique and intriguing style. The text layout is also very artistic, with typography occasionally increasing in size or wrapping its way around pages.If you are a fan of Neil Gaiman and Dave McKean, this book is truly a must-have!

If you don't already know, neil is one of the best authors living today that does fantasy for both children and adults. His style is unique, addicting, surprising, and funny. Anything he has written is a 5 star. His best are probably "neverwhere" and "american gods" but he has a lot of books (many turned into movies and more coming) and they are all worth reading!
