Met My Expectations
I received the mattress elevator in good condition and the package and item was very clean. There was no odor from the mattress foam. Both pieces expanded nicely to over 6 inches within 3 hrs. (Good enough for me, is what doctors recommend for maximum benefits so I didn’t wait the 48 hrs to expand) The two pieces were easy to handle and fitted perfectly. My first night sleep, I could definitely feel a lengthening of my entire spine after a few hours, I slept very well and did wake up a few times getting used to the angle but I went right back to sleep. I feel that I could breathe much easier and felt more comfortable than ever! I’m not sure about all of the benefits yet but I know there is something to this inclined sleep therapy. I woke in the morning feeling great and had no back pain and did not feel dehydrated as i often do despite drinking plenty of water. Like anything else it may take some time to get used to but I personally like it early on. My shipping was super fast and I think in consideration of the benefits not just the item, it was a good value for the money I spent. I will update if anything changes.

Does the job, sort of
After sleeping on a DIY slanted mattress for a while and getting excellent results for both GERD and snoring alike, I decided to make it legit with this elevator. Came quickly as ordered, mine had zero odor/off gassing as some describe. It quickly regained shape after just a few hours, but maxed out at about 6&1/2 inches. Easy install (I put old twin fitted sheets over them for protection), very tolerable slant for a good first night’s sleep on them. Overpriced? A bit. Really 7 inches? Not quite. But adequate and hoping for the best. Yes.

Much better than a 24" wedge.
This has been the best purchase ever. My doctor was suspicious I had acid reflux. I did not. However, I did have back pain after a car accident. This has been an absolute lifesaver. I cannot sleep with a pillow any longer from pain. I don't feel like I'm sleeping downhill anymore. I don't have the uncomfortable bend in my back all night from the previous wedge that my doctor had recommended for acid reflux. The cushions are just right; they are pretty good about not separating, and it's easy to put my mattress pad up and cover over the top. I did not have a topper for a few weeks after I got the wedges, and they did really well with just my sheets. Eventually, I moved the wedges below my mattress as they were supposed to be. They worked really well and in all positions on my bed. I have even removed the cushions behind my bed for sitting up because this one is much more comfortable. It's also easier to get up and down off my bed when I'm so stiff in the mornings. Getting old sucks; this makes it suck less.

Helpful elevation
Works well so you don't have a "edge" where the elevation ends.

Save yourself a lot of money!
This is the right way to raise your mattress. Gadget beds just raise the top half, are very expensive and when raised you cannot sleep on your side. This has stopped my snoring, aided in proper digesting, allows me to use a normal mattress and yes, it does work with a slatted bed frame. Two important things, it is "firm" and does not flatten out, it is simple and the mattress does not slide down. Some getting used to, but really, I had no problem from the first night.

What is this?!
Okay this whole design concept just made me laugh. My husband was having trouble sleeping because of sinus drainage and he thought this might help. Had I looked at the product before he purchased it I would have said no way, do not buy that junk, but we don't micromanage each other like that. We tried it for maybe 4 days and it is ridiculous. I thought maybe it bent the mattress like an adjustable bed or like a hospital bed but no it literally just puts your mattress on an angle so you slide down to the bottom of the bed throughout the night. If you really want to try this thing just get a 2 by 4 and put it under your headboard or top of your bed. Same idea. Luckily we were able to return this pos for a full refund so at least there was a good return policy on it. In order to return it you have to get a bed bag from home depot and use a shop vac to reverse vac all of the air out and it sucks it back down so you can fit it back in the box.

Concerned about side effects: sleep disruption and back pain
I purchased this product to minimize issues with silent reflux; however, a few days after installing it my husband started experiencing back pain. He thought the elevation was compressing his spine at night. I started waking up for long periods of time in the middle of the night. My average sleep (tracked with an Oura Ring and Apple Watch) dropped by about an hour each night, and my deep sleep was cut almost in half. After two months of use, we removed the wedges. My sleep returned to normal, and my husband's back pain stopped. I'm concerned the studies that show benefit from sleeping on an incline are too narrowly focused (looking only at acid reflux), too short in duration, or both. Sleeping at an incline may compromise the brain's glymphatic clearance process by compressing the spine or compromising the flow of cerebrospinal fluid between the brain and spinal chord. Glymphatic clearance is important for brain health and preventing dementia. I looked for published, peer-reviewed research about the impact of inclined sleeping on glymphatic clearance before purchasing this product and found that rigorous studies have not yet been done. My personal experience is that there may be something here that needs further investigation. In the meantime, I'll continue to manage silent reflux by not eating at least three hours before lying down.

If you suffer from acid reflux, this is a perfect solution and will help considerably. If you haven't used a solution like this before, be forewarned, it takes some time to get used to but once you do, you won't even notice it. The 7" lift is noticeably better than the 5" in my opinion. Foam is dense and holds it form once full expanded. Mattress will move a little every so often but isn't too difficult to readjust. Highly recommended

We bought the 5 inch rise foam and found it to be too big a rise so we cut the 5 inch and the 4 inch risers off and it fit nicely

Actually only 4 inches tall get the 7 if you need 5

Product is great. Shipping was the problem took for ever to get a tracking number. When they finally sent it the number didn't exist.
