Raising Capital

Loved the book. I was taught by the professor who wrote it and he really brings the book to life. I love how the whole startup industry is explained in a gist and anyone could understand this. This book also explains how to look for value in each step of the business which is a real asset.

Taking some business classes online, and this is a nice supplement to my courses. I have zero background in business prior to the last few months, and this book is legible and makes sense, even to a lay person. Highly recommend.

This book is a great resource for business owners and entrepreneurs. Mr. Sherman covers all aspects raising money to grow a business venture.

A good book to get you up to speed with what you're going to face as an entrepreneur.

This book is very thorough. It covers off all of the major areas of fund raising with significant detail. It not only provides a clear understanding, it provides several examples of funding requirements and then walks through the information necessary to qualify for the type of funding. While the book will become dated over time, this second release, and update with relevant information as of 2020, is very well done. I believe whether you are a newbie or an experienced fund raiser, this book has significant value in the read. Be advised this is not an afternoon read, but more of a few weeks read. It is so well structured though that you will unlikely go back to it several times for key information of specific fund raising techniques and how to's.
