I use a sealant that cures into a waterproof gasket between the frame and the screen owned devices I repair. (iPads and iPhones). These are great to have in order to clamp down the screen, without damaging our scratching, to let the adhesive cure.

I used to fix my phone and they worked perfectly. Got it back together with these and T-7000 glue also from amazon and got a great bond.

I have history with cellular phones back to when I was on the design team for the Motorola DynaTac 8000X 'brick phone.' Over time, I have done my own repairs to replace parts which has been easy in early days when disassembly was simple through the period where DIY disassembly was nearly impossible. As a new first for me, I cracked the screen on my Samsung S23 Ultra. Was pleasantly surprised to find that the repair screen was readily available as well as Samsung provided video along with others. Although there are a number of storefront repair shops, I still trust my own attention to detail. Bought these for the final step to ensure the adhesive would set all around the perimeter, moving them incrementally. Hopefully no more broken screens in my future, but I expect to find other uses for my DIY project.

Didn't buy for screen repair, Have a serious OCD with electronics being kept clean and was looking for something to hold iPad, Phone or other items while clean them, especially the ports/speakers etc. Came across these, just spend 2min thinking about how they can be used for other applications and you are good to go. Well made, light weight and protect my stuff as I wanted while cleaning them. Has soft pads so won't catch or damage camera as can see in photo.

Je n’ai pas encore testé en situation réelle, mais à première vue, la qualité est au rendez-vous. Je reviendrai mettre à jour mon avis après mes premières réparations.

These clamps are amazing for installing new screens on phones and tablets. Using heavy textbooks only does so well, and a lot of the time the screens can lift back up. Using these clamps, every screen has stayed on properly as if it was the original screen, even with third-party adhesive. They also lift the device off the surface making it easy to work with in clamping each side down and moving the entire device around without shifting the screen. They can be clamped down to any desired strength, and can be over-tightened if not careful. If you are frequently replacing phone and tablet screens, I highly recommend these.
