Raise Your Voice (DVD)

Raise Your Voice is one of those movies I end up watching at least once a year, and honestly, I think it’s because it brings back all the cozy, nostalgic feelings from my childhood. It’s cute, a little dramatic in that early-2000s way, and it just hits the same every time. Is it the most groundbreaking movie ever made? No. But it has heart, good music, and that classic coming-of-age vibe that makes you feel like you’re right back in your teenage bedroom crying over fictional boy problems. It’s sweet, familiar, and always worth the rewatch. If you’re into feel-good movies that tug at your nostalgia and make you smile, this one’s a keeper.

I was watching this movie on tv, and had to leave before it was over, but it was one of those must buy movies just to see the end. So as soon as I got home, I went online and bought the movie, thinking it would at least be in in a week. Unfortunately this was not the case. It has been almost a week and a half, and way past the delivery estimate, and I have still not gotten that movie. So as far as the movie goes, it was great. Totally cute, it will make you cry, smile, laugh, and of course Oliver James is very cute. I love to hear him talk. I would like to say that it ends well, but I have not gotten the movie to see it. So I definitely recommend that you buy the movie, but not from Amazon. Just go to Wal-Mart.

La pel?cula trata de Terry Flitcher, que al sufrir una irreparable perdida como es la muerte de su hermano se desmotiva de continuar con sus sue?os, pero por una promesa de su t?a con su hermano ella la ayuda a mentir para salir al conservatorio a pesar que le mienten a padre de Terry. Ella all? continuaba con sus ideales pero el amor y la ayuda de una persona como su profesor le ayudan a recuperar la confianza y as? tratar de obtener su beca, ara el a?o siguiente. Una pel?cula donde la determinaci?n y convicci?n ganadora luchan contra la desesparacion y la desesperanza despu?s de tal p?rdida. I bought this film as a birthday present for my sister, cos we used to watch the film every friday and we loved it!! but then the disk got ruined and didn't work anymore. Anyway, the film is amazingggg, there are some funny obvious mistakes, but maybe that's just cos we have seen it too much. But really, it is a well made film and very good!

I was looking for this movie in Spain and it was impossible so I'm really happy to have it now.
