Great little book for 1 year old. Pictures are big and clear. Thickness holds up to occasional "tething" moments.

I bought two similarly priced books with the same idea to teach my eight month old some words over the next couple of years into toddlerhood. of the two books I purchased, this was the best one the pictures are simple and straightforward and make sense. the biggest complaint I had with the other book was exactly that, the pictures they featured in the other book weren't the best options. obviously, for a young baby or toddler the pictures should be very simple so for example a rain boots picture should be a standard yellow pair of rain boots that we all know and love. for a rubber ducky, again it should be a simple standard yellow rubber ducky that we're all familiar with not some cutesy rubber duck we've never seen before with hearts on it or rainbows. This book does exactly that, it delivers standard simple easy to understand pictures and no fluff. Yes it should be cute, but it should also make sense.

Is a favorite of my toddler grandson who is learning so many words. Highly recommend.

I actually got this for my 9 month old (10 month old now) but my 4 year old keeps taking it, they both love it SO much!! They love flipping through the pages (even the 9 month old is able to sit and flip through them easily) and it works great as a teether as well! Lol it won’t come apart.. I highly recommend it! For all ages..
