The media could not be loaded. I recently reviewed two diagnostic readers, anyway , this one is much better, which covers almost everything that I expected. There are lots of things I like about this one. Such as the great battery, the appropriate size, the recording ability, the andriod apps, the responsive touch interface, my hands are very cracked, but I can touch it smoothly, a really fully functional smart diagnostic tool. And in this video, I also want to show you guys the graphing ability and how the CRP TOUCH PRO hooked to my vehicle, you can get the BRZ vehicle, the quick test, system ssan and system selection, I used the system scan function to checked my vehicle Subaru, checked the system ECM, turned my key on and recognized it is a 2.0 turbo, then erased the fault codes. You can select any data stream you want, I picked the engine speed, the coolant temp, the blow fan SW, A/C SW, click the ok button, then all the data will show up, and you can also switch it to graphing model, it is pretty cool that I can see two graphing at one time, I had worked many kinds of scan tool like this, it does almost anything, but not everything, but I brought this one with me, this one is much more smaller, much more powerful, it comes with a nice carrying case. As a 500 buck tool, this crp touch pro performs very awesome.

This review is for Launch CRP Touch Pro. I am not a mechanic but I do buy and sell on occasion. It arrived almost fully charged. The unit was new (still in the factory sealed wrapping). Upon receipt I first set up and updated the Android system which took about 30 minutes. I then downloaded 2 Apps. An e-mail app and a photo gallery app. These along with the preinstalled apps should be all I need. At this point I needed to recharge the unit. While charging I configured the screens. Next, I set up the CRP app and ran the update option. it took almost an hour to download all the updates (I wanted all the available updates). After a full charge I used the device on my 2015 Chevy Silverado. There were no check lights on. I ran a full scan and the device found 3 faults. I am very pleased with the unit and it will serve my purposes well. The only thing I would have liked would have been a longer OBD2 Cable.

I haven’t used it on a car yet but when I first got it it took a long time to update. The next morning I tried it out on my 2012 Silverado. Detected VIN just fine but when I started the diagnostic test I got a error saying the serial numbers didn’t match or something like that. I reset it back to factory settings. This time the updates went a lot better and it works fine now all systems seem to work great. It’s a really nice home scanner for cars. It’s worth the money I think

This product is awesome when it works….. it worked for me three times then crashed. I tried numerous times get help from the number on this listing for customer service. They only told me too bad so sad here’s a list of all the places that make their junk for them. The told me “this is a over seas unit and we can’t help in any way.” Even though when I called them the were able to run my serial number and tell me that I bought it on Amazon. They claim to have nothing to do with this product even tho they’re name is on it and the obviously have the ability to run the serial number and tell me where it was bought specifically. Shame on launch and do your self a favor and a as pend you money elsewhere.

This is Android OS so not complicated to set up but.. I thought that the upgrade went through the computer.. nobthe computer is only for the first charging.. so this is a pure stand alone device. The first car for my CRP was an2004" Nissan Almera (N-16) (P.S. this is my first scanner... strange cos I was a marine diesel injection specialist) and it did not take me long to get it running and I love the video futures on this device. To be able to take a full video and play it at home in front of the computer with the workshop manual running on the computer and valuate all the numbers .. NICE. Next car was my own Hyundai Getz 2008 crd but there was no way that I could get that to connect (yes it was on the list under Hyundai) I did try the VIN but no luck and EOBD but no luck. I did read that Hyundai could be difficult to read on some blog so here I am. I did contact support and after I gave them full details they told me they will help me on this so lets see.. Can I surf the net on this scanner yes.. but I would not recommend it cos the display is to crowded.. E-mail fine for me. Internal HD is 1GB and about 700mb are in use after upgrade so I recommend extra SD card. I had an 30GB SD card from one of my cameras and that worked fine. The original software is set to work on cars up to 2017" but after upgrade 2019"Yes I like this, few years ago this scanner would had cost an arm and a leg but not anymore, smile.
