Excellent for keeping medical device in place

I’m a type 1 diabetic w an insulin pump and this tape is the only kind I can use that doesn’t break my skin out. I use it to tape my sensor on my stomach/arms. Keeps my sensor in place for the week without becoming itchy and having skin break outs. I’ve worn it in the summer swimming too and no issues with it coming off.

This product is very effective, perfect for catheterized people, my mother loves it.

I bought this to cover my daughter's Dexcom since the other methods we tried weren't keeping it from falling off during the hot and humid Florida summers. Other parents had mentioned that this works great to cover CGM sensors for swimming, biking, etc. so we thought we'd give it a try. It did adequately cover it and the adhesive stuck for a little bit but after about an hour of riding her bike it started to peel off. Not a perfect solution for us.

I have used this a few times, and like the product. Used it on blisters, sensitive areas as a skin protector, like insect bites to prevent scratching, or keep cuts and scrapes clean and protected. Purchased a 2nd roll to keep in emergency survival first aid kit, for natural disasters or other emergency situations. I like the fact it is cut to size and can be trimmed to size, can trim round corners or into a circle etc, then peel the backing and apply.

I've completely stopped using band aids. Clean the wound, maybe a dab of antibiotic at the beginning, and then cut a nice OpSite Flexifix patch for it. In low wear locations, the patch will last for days. In high wear locations (i.e. hands) I may have to replace more often, but those are difficult locations to patch. OpSite Flexifix keeps the wound clean and moist so that cells can move into the correct places and heal the wound rapidly.

My 6 yr old daughter uses Dexcom CGM and the adhesive in the sensor pads are worthless. We have tried many different tapes/adhesives to keep is sticking to her. The Opsite flex fix has been a heaven sent. Her sensitive skin does not react to it and when it comes time to remove her sensor it comes off so nicely and does not hurt her. I would recommend this to anybody!
