Awesome Lunch Containers!!!!
I truly love these containers. I cannot say enough good things about these containers and I plan on purchasing more in the near future. There are 5 containers with lids in this set as well as 3 freezy bars (ok so that is not really what they are called, but it works). The larger one has two little containers (without lids) inside of it. One is the perfect size for a sandwich made with loaf bread. The other is more of a rectangle and would be good for some potato chips, fruit, or veggies (small salad to go with the sandwich maybe). (It would be possible for liquids to leak over and get on top of your sandwich though, so I would put dry items in it only - unless you like a slightly soggy sandwich). You could also use it for a salad and just keep parts of the salad separate until you want to put them together.) There are 2 rectangle containers with lids. These would be perfect for things like fruit salad, wet fruits such as strawberries, watermelon, etc). You could also use these for things like mac and cheese. There are two tiny little square containers. These are mostly for things like salad dressing and other condiments. I even put mustard and ketchup in them. That way you can wait until you are ready to eat your sandwich before you put the condiments on (will help keep the bread from getting soggy). These could also be handy for toddler size snacks such as raisins. The frezzy bars are sturdy and are designed for the lunch containers to fit down inside them, thus providing more cooling to the items in the containers. I really like this set. The only possible drawback is that the lids fit very snuggly. In most cases this is not a drawback at all (so I did not take a star away). However, schools often expect children to be able to open their lunches themselves. I think this would prove hard for many of the really young ones. However, on the upside of that...it would stand up to them flinging their lunchbox up and down while walking down the hall!

LOVE this kit!
I recently purchased this along with the salad kit and lunch bag. I have to say I really love this set! I have Celiac's which makes eating out difficult and dangerous, so I wanted to have a convenient way to make and carry most of my meals. All the containers are pretty perfect size wise unless you want really large portions. The largest container is great for the main of your meal, while the smaller ones are perfect for sides/veggies/fruits/dessert. Note that the containers within the large rectangular one are just separators, not sealed containers. It's likely that they can mix/spill, so use the smaller containers for sauces/anything you don't want to mix. The ice packs are nice and work well with the lego style stacking. I purchased the large lunch bag, which fits the entree kit with lots of room to spare. As I said, I use this in conjunction with the salad kit which both fit in the bag with room for silverware and a banana. Hope this helps :)

Entrée Kit
As stated with my comments with the "Lunch Blox" bag, this accessory works very well with the bag. Since I am on a low sodium diet I must carry my meals to campus and other places. The freezer blocks do a great job of keeping food cool even for the time between lunch and dinner in my campus office environment. The large bottom container is where I keep grapes and apple slices for my trip home in the car in the evening (after 9 P.M. after arriving for my first class at noon). The fruit is still cool even that late. The other smaller boxes hold an adequate amount of food items for a noon lunch (often soup carried separately). A sandwhich can still fit above the boxes in the bag. I am expecting that the freezer blocks will keep my food cooled adequately when I carry meals to my grandson's baseball games this spring and summer. I also have room above the containers for a salt substitute shaker and a Mrs. Dash seasoning shaker. The two are excellent co-products and are well designed with the inter- locking fo the containers along with the freezer blocks. The smaller containers do not always lock to the freezer blocks tightly, but they stay in position in the bag satisfactorally.

Fantastic system! Much too organized for me.
I got a couple of these entree kits, a couple of salad kits, a couple sandwich kits and a lot of the little one and two square containers. I had big ambitions of organizing my life one lunch at a time. And the system works very well when I use it. Everything interlocks, the freezer blox work great and, honestly, it's a very well designed system. The containers can go in the dishwasher (even the lids!) and handle trips through the freezer and microwave as well as the fridge. The thing that kept it from getting five stars though was the fact that, with all these little pieces and parts, it takes up a LOT of shelf space. And because the sides are not as tapered as some other plastic storage containers (to enable that great interlocking feature,) they don't stack as well as other food storage containers and take up more space. I don't have a lot of space in my kitchen, so I've had to put them all in a box outside the kitchen. The system itself works well, just consider the storage space you'll need before buying lots of Lunch Blox like I did.

These have been just perfect for my kids' lunches. We were previously using Glasslock containers, which have more capacity, but are also very heavy for little ones to carry around. Plus, no devastating consequences if these get dropped, and they're cheap enough to replace when the kids inevitably lose parts. I am not sure whether the square insert in the large container would fit a full-sized sandwich, but my kids normally eat dinner leftovers for lunch, so this is not a concern for us. The set has more than enough containers and capacity for the amount of food required for their 8-hour day (breakfast, lunch and snack). The lids are easy for my 4-year-old to take on and off by himself. Containers nest on top of one another, though don't always "click." We've had them for a couple of months and they are holding up well, including washing in the dishwasher (top rack). Overall, given the inexpensive price, they're a five-star purchase.

Love this set. Soooo good for my lil ones lunch box. His nursery gets really hot so the ice packs are perfect. They are still cold when I pick him up in the evening. Boxes are easy for him to open (he is 2 and half) and they are great for the teachers as they can be microwaved. So no need to fiddle around with his hot food. Highly recommend.

These are so handy! Easy to open, spill proof , and fit perfectly inside the lunchblox lunch bag, with plenty of room left for juice boxes and an apple or other fruit. The larger one on the bottom has a divider, perfect for a sandwich and fruit.

Really pleased with the lunchbox. It's great to have so many containers for different types of food. Would recommend.
