HEAVY DUTY SUCTION CUP HOOK

I tried these on three different non porous surfaces after cleaning thoroughly with alcohol, they, (or rather one) would stay in place for about a minute, or less, then fall off, again this happened on all three surfaces! One of the surfaces was a ceramic tile in the bathroom, if it wont stay on that, then what will it stay on? Yes, I made certain the wheel was opened, and yes, I pressed the cup against the surface(s) while tightening, but it just kept on falling off after less than a minute. If others are having good luck with this suction cup, that is great, but for me they are horrible, returning them to Amazon.

Good grip, must be on smooth surface, ie glass, etc. not for use on standard walls. Suction is strong and product works well.

These suckers stick to my windows really well. I've used it to attach a science experiment to a car window, and a solar panel to a house window. It does the job, and very well, so long as you moisten the surface first.

Tried to suction this to my refrigerator it will only suction to a flat surface. I put it on my painted cupboards and after time they fell off and took the paint with them. Didn't work in my bath fitter shower either.

Trust me on this. Even though these have a lot of suction power. The plastic black piece on these will crack within a months time or less. It happens to all 3 of mine that I got in the order. Now I just use it without the black piece. What's worse is that it warns you not to over tighten. But if you don't securely tighten it then you barely get any suction. You sacrifice suction because of the plastic piece. So I'm not sure if I should give it a good rating because it works better without the broken piece. Or bad rating because the plastic black piece broke. I give it 2 stars because the original design that it is intended to used fell apart too easily.

These are not heavy duty AT ALL. They fall off the wall after a day or two, and I have tried them on multiple surfaces. I have made sure to clean the surface before using them... I have tried taking them apart and putting them back together before suctioning them to the wall... There is no way these suction cups could hold 22 lbs. as advertised.

I bought these to hold baby bath on the tile wall next to the bathtub. I put them up 2 months ago and they have held without issue. I do wish that the hook wasn't a separate piece, hence the docking of one star.

The vault was on the fourth floor. Access through the building was impossible. Security guards swept the halls continually, infrared and motion sensors covered the doors and even the duct work. The only way we were getting in was climbing the glass walls and coming at the safe from behind. Luckily, I had just purchased this set of heavy duty suction cups! These worked like a charm. They take a little getting used to, as you have to push them in, and then screw this retaining piece down, The hooks also have this little 'ball' on the end that is kind of big for some things, but you can pull it off, or thread your item on from the other end and then hook the other end back on the cup. +++ Would scale glass walls again.
