Mattel Games UNO: Roboto Game

I already have one of these and our family has a blast with it. We laugh and accuse the roboto of picking favorites. Giving someone in your group a nickname becomes very funny. Your family will laugh a lot during this game. We keep the house rules above the table so we know who was last, if someone like me doesn’t try to ram their finger up their nose like I did when the house rule was touch your nose. I wish Mattel would make them available again as they are hard to find. I got this one as a gift for my new great granddaughter who absolutely loved playing this game.

After playing this game at our nephew's house I bought one for our family. It is Uno with the great twist of a little robot (with a bottom, which the kids think is hilarious) that switches the rules, plays favorites, lets you change the other players' names, etc. I've only got two complaints - (1) it needs a volume knob - the game gets boisterous and it is sometimes hard to hear the robot instructions (there is a replay button), and (2) It has a limited number of players (I think it is 6, but I'm not sure right now). I definitely recommend purchasing it if your family likes games.

It has been well established that this game is great fun-and I can confirm that having played with big kids (myself included) all the way up to 'mature' adults (Hi Mom!). There really is no substitute for being able to give the nickname 'stinky-butt-icky-pants' to your significant other, only to have it repeated in a higher pitched robotic voice. However-as those who have played other versions of Uno may have experienced, sometimes games can go on. And on. And on. You get the idea. Well, we had a fairly long game the other day with the robot, and by the end of it we were simply exchanging turns of picking up the two cards for the 'house rule'. I mean, after once through the deck you've probably heard the house rule about five times-and it gets old, very quickly. For that, I take away a star. I can't think that it would have been hard for them to allow up to X house rules (preferably 3 or 4) and for the robot to chose one at random. From my point of view, this would add a significant amount of fun to the game. Other than that though, a great game for those of all ages, and another worthwhile installment to the Uno franchise.

My whole family loves playing this game! It's a fun twist on classic UNO. The little robot is funny, and keeps the game interesting even for the older players. We get a lot of laughs out of the house rules, or the sudden surprise of having to switch cards or do some other silly thing! I find him easy to understand and very user friendly, and last time we played my 5 year old set up the game with no problem. My only issue is that he's on a sleep timer, so if you don't push any buttons after a minute he goes to sleep and you lose your game. Sometimes it's hard to keep a game moving with little people, but we've managed. Would absolutely purchase again!

This gadget provides a new level of enjoyment of the game Uno. Playing it with our grandchildren left all of us in hysterical laughter. I highly recommend this as a gift. This even got a grandchild that isn't particularly interested in games to play. The ability to add a house rule and the random nature of the gameplay due to the robotic voice makes an old game fresh and new. It particularly Appeals to the kids who love their Electronics.

I played this with my 15 year old son, my 4 year old cousin, and some friends and family. Hearing your own recorded name called out randomly to do special intructions is so much fun! Everyone loved it! And the suggestions it has for house rules are super cute. We collect Uno games and this is one of our favorites so far! By the way, the robot has a little BUTT!

We bought this for our grandson so he would have games to play when he stayed a weekend with us. It never made it to our house because it is a big hit at his home. His mom said the kids love it, and even the grow-ups like playing it. We love spending time with family over a fun game at the table. My kids (grown) still like to play games when they come for a visit. I highly recommend this game.

Este juego es perfecto, para niños y adultos. Esta versión es inglesa, pero cuando todos entienden el ingles tiene una ventaja para tus hijos, ya que juegan y aprenden entender otro idioma.

Bought this as a present for my 9 year old son. Already have a couple of other UNO games but thought this might be a good purchase. And it is! Had a lot of fun with this already. Robot changes rules as you go along and gives you chance to record a task - such as make a fish face and the last one to do it has to pick up 2 cards. The more players you have the better - the only thing I would say is that it can make you laugh so much you miss what the Robot says some of the time. Really pleased I bought this.

From mamma's table to mine was fantastic I am always looking for healthy meal solutions that still taste good and this is the book. the U no Roboto was for my grandson and he loves it and Naruto was for my other grandson and he loved it .
