Great Earbud Tips
These molded memory foam earbud tips are high quality with a tube in the middle to ensure sound delivery. They are kind of like those stress balls with the outer smooth coating, so they are easy to wipe clean. Black is a good color to go with most earbuds. The fit is slightly different. If you are used to foam earplugs when sleeping, it is similar in that you have to squish them before inserting in your ears. This is relatively easy. I typically use the smallest earbuds in the three standard sizes that most earbuds come with. I would say that these are closer to medium, but they compress to the smaller size and fit well. They are comfortable enough to wear for a few hours with no problem. As a benefit, since these are memory foam and fit your ear canal better, the sound is often slightly louder and more ambient noise is blocked when using them. I bought the medium and small sizes since I was unsure which would be the best fit. In my opinion, you should generally try out the size corresponding to the same size you typically use. If you are doing intense physical activities, I would consider going up a size since the smalls do come out of my ears occasionally.

Great in ear fit, comfortable, great noise blocking. Large Decibulls Memory Foam Earbud Tips.
I love these replacement earbud tips. They work perfect in my ears. I have an odd situation where the silicone bud tips will not seal within one of my ears. I had an old pair of buds that would fall out when I was working out and a new pair of over the ear buds that would allow outside sound in. I ordered some silicone tips and a pair of these in Large. I returned the silicone tips as they were the same as the tips that came with the buds. The Decibullz tips were great, they fit nice and would block out outside sound really well. Then the old buds began to die prematurely. So, I ordered a pair of JBL buds, they fit the buds and worked nice but they were too big for the charging case and the buds wouldn't charge, they prevented the buds from contacting the charging pins. I returned the JBL buds, and purchased a pair of earfun buds, these tips fit perfect and the buds will charge with the tips in place. I wanted to replace my work buds, the ones I use for meetings, so I ordered a pair of anker buds, while the case looks like it will allow larger buds these unfortunately will not charge unless I trim the end of the tips, while they work well with the tips trimmed off they are not as comfortable. I wish they came with a shorter tip option.

Good product that could fit better
These fit snug over my earbuds, almost too snug as they were tight to put on. The outer finish is smooth to resist build-up of grim with an easy wipe. I don't get putting these in hot water for a 'custom fit'. If they're on your earbuds, do you put the earbud in the hot water too? If not, how do you get the earbud from the hot water into your ear canal? The fit would be better if they were maybe 1/2 mm longer. My ear canals are not the same left to right, and the left fits great, but I need to shove the right bud in further to get a good seal and even then it moves out just enough to let in ambient sounds. If I buy the large, my ears start to hurt from the pressure, and the small would never seal. I'll need to look for something a tad longer.

My new go-to tips - Best ANC and GRIP!
5-PACK / MEDIUM FOAM ------------------------------------- I'm using the Decibullz foam (squish 'n insert) ear tips with three pairs of ear buds, two sets of Sony WF-1000XM4s and one pair of Sony WF-1000XM5s. All three get daily use. I live in them. A single set of Soundcore A3 sleep buds go in for night time but the Sony's are in rotation all day, every day and have been for a number of years now. Be sure, I'll be writing a short novella about JUST the FOAM ear tips from Decibullz and NOT the heat and shape EAR PLUGS I've also seen the Decibullz brand touting here and there. I've read various reviews where it seems some buyers are a tad confused as to how they would heat these foam tips, so I want to be clear that I'm using the regular 'ole foam tips that one rolls/compresses and then inserts to let the foam slowly expand and form a seal. I know nothing of the Decibullz product(s) that one might heat and create a custom mold out of; I think that's more in the range of their other more professional applications like shooting/etc. But among foam ear tips which one is required to compress and then insert? I've found nothing quite as solid as the Decibullz foam tips. I've traveled the 'verse in search of the best FOAM tips out there to use with the Sony ear buds I constantly rotate throughout any given day and after a good month or two of listening, I can quite confidently say that the Decibullz have taken the #1 spot. There is one minor quibble that I'll get too way down at the end but it's something I've found to be easily mitigated with a bit of finesse on insertion. THE GOOD ------------------------------------- No kidding, though, and just starting with the good? The Decibullz are better than the very decent but (IMO) way overpriced Complys which I've bought and enjoyed on various occasions for over a decade. They are better than any sort of silicon tip (which I generally don't like anyway) and notably better than the stock Sony foam tips. And the real bar was raised when I found the Decibullz to be better than the absolute BEST price to performance option I've purchased for a couple year snow which are the EXCELLENT Sonicfoam ear tips which are still fantastic and will remain a routine purchase for me. But the Decibullz have 100% dethroned the Sonicfoams when considering my primary metrics: improvement of the active noise cancellation (ANC) feature of my ear buds while maintaining a true voicing of the intended Sony tuning/sound signature. Easy metrics that are difficult to meet. Shoosh! Even without ANC? The Decibullz are right up there with the best industrial grade foam ear tips one might use in the noisiest of work environments like tank battles, flying helicopters or busy factories. Throw some very decent ANC in to the mix and it's a complete shut down of ambient sound, I mean, as complete as one can get considering the physics of sound and materials. I was going to do my routine purchase of Sonicfoams which is really only about once a year and saw these Decilbulz so thought I'd take a chance. Glad I did. Turns out to be a win and I will certainly be a regular purchaser as long as the materials and performance remain the same. The noise cancellation factor is fantastic. Second only to the Sonicfoams which are incredibly good. And the very well known sonic quality of the Sony XM4/XM5s that I use constantly is not affected at all. But I will hinge everything on how well any given foam tip blots out ambient sound, that's really the make/break metric for this listener. For that matter, I've generally found that if a specific ear tip does very well in the noise cancellation department, it generally also does equally well in the sound quality department. I've never found it otherwise, frankly. A NOTE ABOUT INSERTION ------------------------------------------------- For me, the insertion of a proper "compress and insert" ear tip is quite nearly a ritual. It takes me a full minute, generally, to get my ear buds both set and in place. Over a minute, really and if I'm doing it right. From my adventures and quests, searching the known 'verse for the very best FOAM ear tips out there? I've found that the absolute most important part is the insertion part. When I go put the ear buds in, I do so expecting only minimal adjustments here and there and while listening. I want them to go in and STAY in. So properly COMPRESSING the tips is primary and just as important, proper patience to then hold the ear buds where I want them (like right against my brain lol) and let them FULLY expand before finally letting go. A ritual. As mentioned. These Decibullz foam tips will compress very nicely and as with the best foam tips I've used, they will take a good 30 seconds to nearly a minute to fully and properly expand. They are among some of the slowest to expand I've used and I count this as a good thing. I think this is likely where most folk miss on the foam tip equation. One has to really roll the tips tightly and compress them as much as possible then insert the tip, careful that the ear bud is properly aligned and then just meditate for at least 30 seconds while the ear tip expands. I generally lean towards 45 seconds to a minute before letting go of each tip and it 100% makes a huge difference. I'll also reach with the off-hand and lift on the topmost area of the ear-of-insertion, which allows for a slightly deeper insertion within the ear canal. But by far the main thing that will make or break the ear tip seal is properly compressing the tip and then properly WAITING. So watch a movie or something. It's worth the wait... Once that's done? These Decibullz foam tips are STUCK! I mean, they expand to form an impressively firm grasp within the ear canal. I intentionally use an ear tip size that is slightly larger than the ear canal. This guarantees that once squished, the foam tips will insert deeply but also expand very firmly. I could, theoretically, get away with using size SMALL but I find the extra material and mass of the MEDIUM sized tips to equal a much more secure fit and notably better noise cancellation. Regarding the sizing, the physics are pretty easy: the more material, the more densely the foam can be compressed and hence the best noise cancellation. I know when I've got a solid insertion and the tips are fully expanded because I can FEEL the things in there PUSHING out against the ear canal like they are bench-pressing or something lol! I can completely see how this might drive certain people crazy as it can be a tad off-putting at first. A certain family member absolutely refuses to use this sort of ear tip simply because they find it uncomfortable and they can never get over hearing all the internal bodily functions like breathing and their own voice, etc. Totally normal. But for me, that complete isolation is what I'm after... ONE NOTE --------------------------- The only "bad" thing I've found is that these are the first foam tips that will cause a bit of discomfort after several hours. I've since learned that it's a matter of how deeply I insert the Decibulz tips combined with the extreme pressure they put on the inner ear canal. I'm inclined to think that the outer coating is also ever so slightly firmer than other foam tips I've used but in the long run I think this will translate into longevity of the ear tip and also make them a bit easier to clean/maintain. I've solved the slight problem by simply not inserting them quite as vigorously as I do all other brand foam ear tips I use. Problem solved, zero issues with that minor adjustment. ... Otherwise, I think they are the best I've found. Best of luck on your quest!

Not a perfect match
Rufus claims these are compatible with the Google Pixel Buds Pro 2. This isn't 100% correct: 1. It is super hard to install them, the diameter is a hair too tight for the oval stubs in the buds. 2. It's almost impossible to recharge them while using these (medium size) tips. Your only relief is to take them out, which means you can't just pull them out of the charging case and put them on, if you are lucky you can get proficient enough to do them in a minute or three. And don't be surprised if you break a tip while putting them on. I imagine this will be less an issue for the small size. Acoustically they work exactly as advertised. The sound seal is superior to silicon tips. The memory foam works very similar to the disposable ear plugs I already use. They do give a very secure fit, I have had no worry whatsoever about dropping one. Summary: great replacement tips, just keep in mind that they will be much harder to install on buds with an oval stem.

They are great for mowing
These guys really fit well in your ear, but you do need to know how to use them These work so well because they are dense foam and hold their shape. They are hard to get on the earpods too, but that isn't so bad, I will tell you the 'trick' The material is very dense and it is meant to be compressed before putting it in your ear ( or trying to get it on you earpod ). Treat it like a normal foam earplug and they work great! Roll them in your fingers to compress them until they are small, then insert them, and let the foam expand. It is almost a custom fit These are great, but like a lot of things that are good, you have to know how to use them Hope this helps
